The hotel staff seems to be foolish, they accepted my reservation and once at the hotel, they denied my check in, claiming that dorms are forbidden for moroccans under national law. The thing that is purely wrong. Because locals access dorms everywhere in Morocco, whether in the mountain refuge of toubkal, in the old medina of Tangier, in Essaouirra or Taghazout and in Fes itself. Even the tourist police didn't confirm his says. It's a discriminatory act from his side, and even if he assumes it, he should not accept the reservation and waste travelers time from the early stage.

The rooftop terrace was definitely one of the highlights of the hostel. I appreciated the complimentary tea service and met some genuinely great people during my stay, which made for some memorable conversations and experiences. The social atmosphere among travelers was strong, and I’m grateful for the people I connected with while there. There were unfortunately a few areas that could be improved. I found the staff somewhat cold, off, and not especially welcoming, which affected the overall first impression of the stay. A more personable and guest-oriented approach would make a big difference in creating a warmer atmosphere. The bathroom situation also did not feel adequate for the number of guests sharing the space. The bathroom was quite small, not consistently clean, and seemed insufficient for the number of people using it. Additionally, the laundry service was extremely overpriced for what was offered (200MAD). The rooftop itself was beautiful, but I personally would have preferred a quieter atmosphere there rather than loud music playing continuously, as it could otherwise be a very peaceful space to relax.

My daughter and I shared a private room and the room was spacious and comfortable. The main room was beautifully furnished. The location was great for walking to shopping and restaurants. Breakfast was very nice also. The hot water didn't last long so we didn't get full showers. We left our room right and check-out time and the cleaning lady started cleaning the room even before we had gotten our bags out the door. Our room was up 3 flights of stairs, which was fine for us since we didn't have mobility issues or a lot of luggage, but this could be a problem for some people.

Close to everything. I had a shared mix room which everyone was super nice. The breakfast was the highlight The outlet from most of the bums weren’t working. Ventilation was poor. Window was open middle of night to get some air.

It’s a beautiful Riad with a great location. Nice breakfast. Complimentary tea. Wonderful rooftop patio. The pillows are very hard. Breakfast starting at 930 was very late for me.
-
Very noisy room, from occupants below and above loud noise disturbances till early hours of the mornings the room was close to the office registering guests till well past midnight. Each time anyone walked up or down stairs lights came on and shone into the room. Tour offered and booked did not materialize, and communication around this was poor.

Location, staff, common room, breakfast

Space was welcoming and the staff is awesome! Probably the best breakfast spread of any hostel. Super social place without being crazy loud. Also right next to the English pub if you fancy a drink.

The property is very nice and calm. I love the rooftop, its so beautiful There was no room/space dedicated for prayers. Please they should consider proving a space for Salats

They play loud music till midnight. The location felt unsafe. Men hang around near by insisting to be your street guide. Had to walk several blocks to get a taxi.
-
The rooftop view was great. Bring your own soap and shampoo.
-
The late check-in fee was mandatory even though the airline was delayed by 3 hours
-
The wifi & cell data don't work in some areas of the hostel, cannot find a quiet & private area for even a 30 minutes phone call, the bathroom door in my dorm room doesn't lock properly

Very social hostel. Great breakfast and rooftop area. Staff also very friendly and helpful The rooms were a mess, the bathroom smelled mold. The cats are cute, but they go in rooms and climb on beds

The riad as a building is beautiful,l and there is a hostel vibe, if you are into that kind of thing. There is a nice sitting area on the rooftop where breakfast is served. There are cats in the riad so be aware if you are allergic. I was also asked to pay in full in cash upon arrival. All of this information comes in a looong message you receive from the riad after booking. The room was rather tight, and the bed was sort of hard. The windows were all opening up into the main area. It is noisy until midnight or so and the breakfast although nice is a rather slow affair.

Great value, comfy beds, exceptional breakfast unexpected. Fun rooftop vibe. Really nice place for this budget price. Check in wasn’t smooth, not sure what the hold up was. Then the yelling at staff was a bit much especially since it was late with thin walls. Very friendly service but wish we were told how to work hot water heaters for hot water in morning. Breakfast exceptional but late at 0930.
