Excellent place to stay in FEZ
-
The old world charm! I loved that the original tiles and furniture was all there, had not been modernized and destroyed like so many other Riads. It was authentic and exactly what I wanted. The wifi in our room on the second floor, just did not work - ever. It was only available in the courtyard downstairs. And there were alot of mosquitos in the courtyard without any coils or netting. They bite and this can be easily prevented.

The staff was amazing!! Everyone from the owner, who took over for his parents, to the porter to the kitchen staff are incredibly kind and accommodating. They helped with every question we had, and even helped us get our train tickets to Marrakech.

The staff were friendly, attentive and helpful. The hotel is beautiful and everything was perfectly clean. I had a wonderful holiday and will definitely be staying there again on my next trip to Morocco. Although everything is absolutely lovely, if you look closely you’ll notice that in a few places some small tiles on the floor are missing or are no longer in the best condition. I’d also prefer a shower to a bath with shower facilities. Perhaps this could be addressed during the next renovation. That would make the place absolutely perfect for me.

The booking staff were very kind, friendly and supportive. Zahra is a very nice Moroccan lady who not only speaks multi languages but also she is very knowledgable and open-minded. We had great time at Riad Dar Al Andalous and we had a comfortable stay in Fes. Highly recommended. Nothing

What I liked most was the excellent hospitality. The rooms were beautiful, clean, and comfortable, and Otman and his team were extremely helpful, professional, and welcoming throughout our stay. They made us feel very well taken care of and helped make our time in Fez even more enjoyable. Honestly, there was nothing we didn’t like about our stay. Everything was well organized, comfortable, and the staff was incredibly attentive throughout our visit. We had a great experience overall.

We didnt get wifi in our room from the beginning. We did talk to the staff about it but they didnt sort it out. Apart from the wifi everything was great

The most beautiful place i have lived in. The riad was a perfect blend of culture and modern facilities. The staff was veryy accommodating especially Zahra, and super passionate about the medina and what it offers They arranged tours for us and the hammam experience was top notch Nothing

There are many new riads and some under construction that simulate the older riads but Dar Al Andalous is beautifully maintained authentic Riad over 100 years old.

Very kind welcoming with great explanation on background of the city

This was the best riad experience amount of stays in seven cities in Morocco. The room is huge in luxury setting, with a large sitting area and three colored glass windows, at a convenient location to many attractions. There was parking spots available cost 2 euro per night. Manager Otmane was flexible with data change also help us to deal with parking fee collectors. Hessan was always available at door for any needs. Breakfast was traditional Moroccan food.

The staff are all wonderful people and the riad as is beautiful

Very nice inside, clean, very welcoming staff, and also very helpful. I strongly recommend if you want a guide, a restaurant, a spa, speak with the staff there: they know the best guides, the food is amazing at the accommodation, the spa is great. Thank you for all, it was amazing

I can't say enough good things about this hotel/riad! It is beautiful, the staff was very accommodating and kind, and the room was huge! We only spent two nights here and truly didn't want to leave. We felt welcome, warm, cozy and at home. The location was perfectly just outside of the Medina on a quiet alley that made for easy to sleep nights and very easy to find our way into the mix of the Medina. Please stay here!

All I can say is Wow what an experience. The staff is just exceptional, extremely kind, supported, helpful, and very hospitable you feel right at home. The rooms are well equipped and maintained, very spacious, super clean. Every thing was well organized. The food was top notch. Homemade authentic and quality food. I used to only stay in hotel brands like Marriott and Hilton , but after this experience my perspective changed. If you visit Fez, do yourself a favor and book this one. You will be taken care off, you will feel at home, safe, and enjoy your time.

To be precise, we loved everything. We've been consistently impressed by the level of hospitality in Morocco, but Andalous took it to a whole new level. We felt warmth and welcomed at every step of our Fes stay, thanks to the crew at Andalous led by Otman. Otman himself is incredibly industrious, paying careful attention to every detail and juggling billing, taking care of all his guests, and overseeing a grand New Year's party on his own. Our room was princely, and I had half a mind to spend the entire time in the giant rainfall shower. Thank you Dar Andalous - we promise to spend the majority of our time with you guys next time we're in Morocco. Nothing at all. Everything was picture perfect.

Great and convenient location. The manager (Osmante) was really good with helping us, so was the rest of the staff. They worked hard to make our stay pleasant and comfortable.

This is one of my go-to hotels in Fes. I always stay here because I love the location, I appreciate the level of care and courtesy of the staff (Rachid goes above and beyond!) and owners (Othmane is communicative, attentive, caring). The riad is one of the oldest riads in Fes and as soon as you walk in, you can feel the history of the space. It's beautifully designed, with lots of intricate details in the architecture, tilework, and carved cedar. It's an impressive place to stay, but it's also quiet, comfortable, and secure.

This property is an extremely gorgeous riad ! Zahra checked us in and was so friendly and helpful. She offered dinner service so we had three nights of the very best of Moroccan cooking. Each night and morning Otmane was there to check in to help with any planning we needed for the next days. His help was indispensable and much appreciated. We wouldn’t have enjoyed our visit without his lovely smile and follow through with or plans. We left early and insisted we take breakfast for our 7 hour train ride to Marrakech. It’s was very inexpensive for the location and beauty of the interiors.
