Hotel Villa Bonelli

We drove and the streets to the Villa are quite narrow so I was a little nervous in a spot but it all worked out.

The hotel's location is somewhat difficult to access by car. It is an old building, and although the rooms are reasonably comfortable, the bathroom could be improved. The breakfast selection was limited. There was an uncovered water well next to the hotel's back garden, which attracted a large number of mosquitoes and made the outdoor area uncomfortable. There was an unusual damp smell in the room, and the bathroom could be improved. The breakfast was definitely very poor, and one staff member seemed to struggle to keep up with the guests. Measures should certainly be taken to address both the mosquitoes and the smell in the room.

Clean, nice property in a nice area. We loved staying in Fiesole and appreciated the ease of taking the bus to and from Florence. The woman that checked us in was extremely helpful and directed us to a few wonderful bars and restaurants in the area. The breakfast was simple and nice, not a lot of options, but we left feeling full and satisfied each morning. We enjoyed the juice and coffee machine at breakfast as well. We enjoyed the daily turn down service too. The walk from the bus stop to the hotel is uphill. Dragging our luggage up there was a little difficult, especially after a long travel day. When we didn’t have luggage and weren’t exhausted, the walk up the hill to the hotel was fine. The shower did not drain well.

Breakfast was a perfect collection of sweet and savory offerings with a decent coffee machine. The staff were exceptional and friendly. They provided information on hikes, museum visits, and dining in the local area. The rain prevented us from having breakfast in the garden but the location is quiet and beautiful. The room was comfortable. There is a short steep walk to the hotel which would be hard for anyone with mobility issues.

Value was great. Very clean and the included breakfast was a wonderful bonus. Very quiet location and view from our room was beautiful. The location is in Fisole so it is a distance from the museums and sights in Firenze. Cost of taxi was between 36 to 40 euros depending on destination.

Lovely little hotel on top of a hill. The view is absolutely breathtaking. The people were super kind and sweet. Breakfast added bonus. My favorite stay in Italy. Everything was perfect

This is a beautiful hotel located in scenic Fiesole. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful with sightseeing suggestions. Fieslole has a lot of beautiful sites and history of its own but we stayed here mostly to attend events in Florence. It's easy to get there by bus or taxi. The breakfast could have a warm food option (e.g. eggs or sausages) but otherwise the breads and coffee were good.

Exceptional view, fresh air, wonderful breakfast in the garden, very convenient commute to the heart of Florence, very polite, cheerful staff, very good restaurants nearby, very clean and recently renovated rooms. I enjoyed the stay very much

The hotel is located in a quiet street at the top of a hill. We had lovely views of the rolling hills form our room. The staff, especially the receptionist, were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good, and the staff were attentive. The room was clean and functional—compact but it had everything we needed. The location is great- close to all amenities (bus stop, restaurant and sites).

The breakfast is bare bones for the price.There is only bread and ham,and maybe boiled egss,for which you have to wait to be boiled,and they ran out of eggs at 9 in the morning... It was disappointing, everything else was excellent

Clean and staff were very friendly and accommodating. Location ideal with a short trip on 7 bus to town. Fiesole absolutely stunning. Noise insulation in building poor and lighting in room very bright.

Very friendly small hotel. The lady at reception could not have been more helpful. My room had a great view over the Tuscan countryside. The number 7 bus for Florence leaves from the main square, which is a walk of between five and ten minutes. -
