The view!! That the front desk expected a tip

The hotel has beautiful views, and the free shuttle service to the city several times a day was very convenient. The breakfast was also excellent, with a good variety of options. Although our first room wasn’t what we expected, the staff handled the situation very well. We were first moved to another room and later, after reporting a broken power socket, the front desk manager upgraded us to a much better corner room. It had an amazing view, was significantly quieter, and made our stay much more enjoyable. In this final room, we couldn’t hear any noise from the bar, the stairs, or anywhere else, which made a huge difference. There was also a second swimming pool nearby that was peaceful, cleaner, and much less crowded than the main pool. Our initial room had a view of other hotel rooms instead of the sea. The room also felt a bit dated and wasn’t as clean as expected. One of the power outlets next to the bed was broken, and although the maintenance team tried to fix it, it couldn’t be repaired. Noise insulation could definitely be improved. In the first rooms, we could hear people using the stairs, noise from a nearby electrical room, and music from the bar above our room until late at night. The main swimming pool could also be maintained better, as it didn’t appear to be cleaned thoroughly.

I made my reservation several months in advance. I discovered a week or so before my stay that the rate for my stay was 2 x as much as what was available closer to the reservation date. When I discussed this with the hotel, they said my inquiry was too late to receive the discount. I then requested an upgrade to my room. At first, they were equivocal, but the they agreed to upgrade my room to a Junior Suite. However, upon arrival, we did not receive the accommodations promised. No minibar, etc. This was very disappointing and I realize now we did not get value for our money. See above

Beautiful views, and the staff was very friendly and helpful my entire stay there There was mold in different parts of my room, especially in both bathrooms which is a health concern. I didn’t like how the toilets continuously run after you use them and you have to keep pushing on them to try and get the water to stop running. Also, they provide shuttle service however it only runs every so often which is very inconvenient so you have to pay the taxi service which is €15 if you miss it.

Greattt view and perfect location the rooms and the service were amazing

I don't know that I have ever had a more helpful staff. We traveled with a group and they catered to our needs, made helpful suggestions and stayed involved in making our stay wonderful. Location - It's a little more that a mile from Fira but they have a shuttle and it was great to stay away from town and have unobstructed views of the caldera. the property - Wow. every bit as pretty as the pictures. great views from the rooms, restaurant, pools. a great experience.

Beautiful views of caldera. Two nice pools.

The pool was full of clumps of hair

Breathtaking views. Immaculate property. Very kind staff. The food at the restaurant was great (albeit a bit pricey.) I appreciated being able to use the gym at a sister property. Not the property’s fault, but I probably should have rented a car because it wasn’t super close to other restaurants and the hotel restaurant was a bit above our budget to eat there frequently.

Breakfast staff was incredible, as was the food. Views are breathtaking.

Views are wonderful. Every room has a view of the volcano. Staff are very friendly . Wish the rooms had a couch for sitting, and more bathroom and towel hooks. Pool is not heated and a tour group/ party group of 25 came and took over the pool area so that you didn’t feel comfortable to use it.

We had the best time! The views are immaculate! Breakfast was amazing and the staff is SO SO wonderful and accommodating and go above and beyond. It’s just outside Fira but you can walk or take one of the shuttles the hotel offers! I loved every minute of it!
-
the staff was not able to provide correct information regarding the time it would take by public bus to get to the airport ( time is 10 Minutes). it seemed like they were pushing to schedule a taxi which costs 40 Euro for a 8 minute drive while the bus costs 2 Euro per person. since the hotel is outside of the town and there are no restaurant and shops in the hotel area it would have been great to have more availability of the shuttle bus to Fira and back

Very clean and pretty

The view is absolutely jaw-dropping! You get to enjoy the most beautiful sunsets, away from all the crowds. The pool area was lovely, with good music. The room and bathroom were spacious and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was delicious and staff were very helpful and kind. To be completely honest, I was taken aback by the location when we arrived, as I initially thought the hotel was going to be situated in Fira and I really wanted to be in a central location. But after seeing travellers having to carry their own luggage through the heavy crowds and marble steps in both Fira and Oia, I was quite happy our hotel was more accessible, and offered multiple daily shuttles to town.

Just that the breakfast finished at 10;30am. Would have preferred if it could be 11am
