The location was fantastic and the stay, pool and area were very nice. The breakfast wasn’t good.

Food at breakfast was good. Location was excellent, particularly as the best way to travel around the island is by bus. The pools were large and there was always good availability of loungers. Would be a good hotel to stay at if you were planning to party and stay out late every night. No soundproofing - we were awake until 23:30/midnight most evenings as the room next door showered at 23:30 every day and from our room you could hear every word said by people in the courtyard. The manager was very rude and as a consequence the attitudes and communication of most staff was quite poor. Rather than ensure the hotel is well-resourced, you are made to ration your use of amenities such as pool towels, shower gel etc.. Breakfast is slow to be restocked when busy. This is one of the most disappointing hotels I have stayed at in a long time.

The property is located a two minute walk from the night life…perfect! It was exceptionally clean….so important! Our hot tub was impeccable. The staff were very accommodating and pleasant at all times…from the lady cleaning our room to the front desk ladies (3of them) to Richard in the evening.

Loved the pool area and the restaurant layout. Very well designed. Location wise very well located with proximity to airport and port. Loved the water pressure in the shower. Enjoyed our balcony. Rooms were big. Bed was great and comfortable. Not too hard or too soft. Facility was clean. Rooms were clean too. No feeling of yuckiness. Staff was friendly. Our unit was beat up - walls were cracking from moisture. Our room was facing a soccer field that was quite loud until late and some crazy drivers on the road. Breakfast was ok - there was a lot of content but not really with much quality. Didn’t like that dirty dishes weren’t picked up. Bathroom designed for shorter / smaller people :)

The hotel itself is nice, and the ladies at the front desk were always kind and helpful. However, my experience with the owner was extremely negative, and I feel it’s important for future guests to be aware of what happened. My experience at this property was extremely upsetting and nothing like what I expected when I booked. I reserved two rooms for three nights, paying $2,438 in total. One of the rooms — the one-bedroom suite for two adults and two children — cost around $1,100 alone when I booked it. This was the room we specifically wanted. However, as soon as we landed, I received a message saying that the room would not be available until later that night. This was last‑minute notice, but I agreed to wait for the room we had paid for. In the meantime, they placed us in a very small temporary room. When we returned from dinner, we were told the room still wasn’t ready and wouldn’t be available until the next day. I asked politely for a similar room or an upgrade, since the temporary room was cramped and uncomfortable, but they claimed they had no other options. The next morning, they told us the room would be ready at 5 PM. We returned at that time, only to be told again that it would not be ready. At this point, the hotel was nearly empty, so I asked how it was possible that no rooms were available. The front desk said they would contact the owner. When I asked to speak with him directly, they told me he was not on the property. After speaking with him, the staff offered us a cabana room — smaller and without the jacuzzi we originally booked — but at least more spacious than the temporary room. I accepted it. Then they brought me a letter to sign stating that I would give them a 10/10 review on Booking.com in exchange for the room and for waiving the cost of a bottle of Moscato I had ordered. I refused. It was unprofessional and completely inappropriate. The next morning, the owner approached me in a confrontational and aggressive manner. He repeatedly spoke over me and accused me of “threatening” to leave a bad review, which never happened. All I had said to the staff was that I didn’t feel comfortable giving a perfect score because of the issues we experienced.

The proximity to the bus stop/taxi was so perfect. The staff was very friendly and accommodating!

This has to be the most beautiful hotel on the island it’s immediately across from the supermarket and just down from the bus station and a short walk from the popular walking area of Fira. The breakfast was amazing!!! No complaints. Everything was wonderful. They helped with my luggage, allowed me to hang out for the day after checking out and the owner offered me a fantastic upgrade when I had a slight issue the first night.

Breakfast, swimming pool, quiet life at the hotel, location (10/10). Very good choice! What we didn't like so much was the noise from the plumbing (although it was occasional, it could be heard).

Property is nice, clean and located walk to the main hustle and bustle without being in the middle of it. We love everything. Very comfortable rooms.

Location is good . Sound echoes - doors slamming and loud conversation were heard in the middle of the night and early morning with tour groups .

Aesthetic environment with helpful and friendly staff members! I’ll recommend the Kalisti Hotel & Suites to anyone traveling to Santorini. Clean. Central to sites. Friendly and helpful people. 2 swimming pools. Tasty breakfast. I was able to order lunch and dinner from their restaurant/pool side bar.
