Kavalari Hotel - Adults Only

The views were amazing. Great location. We arrived late and no one was able to help us with our bags. The stairs are treacherous and we really struggled.

Great view to volcano and sunset!

The view was good. You get to see the sunset very well from the rooms as you are on the famous cliff. Also convenient because you are in the village so shops and restaurants are very accessable. We tried to check in because my grandfather booked the room on booking.com with his account but booked the rooms under our name. When we got to reception, they didn't let us in the room and we needed to book an entire new reservation spending an extra $200 because there were no cancellations.

This is the 4th time I've stayed at Kavalari. I've never been disappointed. The hotel, located on the side of cliff is an excellent location for viewing sunsets, the caldera and cliffs of Thera and Oia . Staff in very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is great .

The views were amazing and the staff was so friendly and helped us with our bags. The rooms a little small and outdated but the view made up for it.

Internet access fluctuated, dropping out occasionally.

The hotel and especially my room was facing the caldera. Sunset and sunrise views were wonderful. The room was spacious and the bathroom too. Kind staff. Highly recommended

Views of the caldera, excellent staff like Viki, Yanni, Mobeen, chambermaid. Great recommendations on restaurants and activities from Viki. Responsive via texts on Booking.com messaging platform. Mobeen was most helpful with the luggage to and from the rooms. Toilet -- we had a room with a shower head in a bath-tub. A little awkward when bathing, to stand in a bathtub with a showerhead, so the floor gets wet very easily. Also, may be dangerous to stand when bathtub gets slippery after soaping.

If you're looking for the true Santorini experience, this is it! Right in the center of all the bustle while still having a breath away from the chaos above. It had the best views and it was a comfortable timeless stay.

The staff were very nice and helpful. Breakfast was very good. I stayed here years ago so when I booked months in advance I requested a room with 2 twin beds and courtyard (per the picture on the site). what I received was a room off of the reception area that had one double bed and 2 small windows. the room was next to the reception area bathrooms so you could hear everything in the area. When we asked to be moved to what we had a reservation for we were told that to change us would be 30 euros to clean another room and 30 euros to clean the room we were given. They opted to put a cot in our room. It was like a bait and switch and we were told that regardless of our reservation we get what they have available. Not sure what the purpose of making a reservation for a particular room is for if this is the result. I would think you wouldn't give a room to someone else when you know that someone has it reserved and already paid. Totally bummed by this experience.

Very close to everything. Easy to find it. A lot of steps but with the help of stuffs didn't suffer.

Location is perfect. On our arrival, the staff had a hard time finding our room.
