Plastiras Rooms is set in a quiet location, 1969 feet from the island’s capital center, Fira. You can watch the famous Santorini sunset and the volcanic scenery within a 5-min walk from the property. Guests have easy access to the main square where shops, restaurants, bars and public transportation can be found. All the air-conditioned rooms are spacious and feature private balconies, built-in king size beds and white-washed walls. All units also are equipped with a TV, refrigerator and kettle. Aura and her husband were amazing! They had fantastic suggestions and recommendations of things to do and restaurants. The room was clean and comfortable. It is a bit of a hike to the main town of Fira(uphill) but only about a 10-15 minute walk. It is doable but I would recommend renting a quad or scooter to get around and be able to see more of the island. Aura arranged for us to rent a quad at a great price and gave us a whole list of absolutely beautiful places to see!

The highlight of staying here was how kind and helpful the family was! We followed all Aura’s recommendations and loved everything we did and are in Santorini. The room and villa were great too. Would highly recommend!

The accommodation is located just a bit outside the busy center, which I actually loved—it was peaceful and quiet, yet still within walking distance to everything. The room was clean, spacious, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The hosts Aura and Gregory were so kind and helpful, always available for anything I needed and with great local recommendations. Their warm hospitality made my stay even more enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again.

The hosts (family business) were very hospitable, accommodation, helped with everything, arranged airport transfers, responded at any time of night and day, it was like family. The room is new, modern, designed with great taste, every piece of furniture is stylish and there is a lot of aesthetic beauty. Highly recommend this airbnb to anyone. We had the best time.

I love how quaint and clean the rooms and spaces were. There was a little breakfast area next to the pool that I was able to hang out in after check out and Aura was so kind enough to give me coffee and a snack while I sat! The only small thing is the walk to the center of Fira was quite uphill, but only about 15 minutes so was very doable.

The hotel is very nice and the attention is impeccable. They helped us get from and to the airport, and offered us a tour of the island. Aura was very nice. The location is very good, 10 minutes walking distance from the center. We thought the breakfast could have been better, adding fruits or more protein instead of so much bread. We also hired a tour with them to see the sunset, and we were not on time, which was really disappointing. However, that was extra to the accommodation.

What a warm and friendly welcome from Gregory and Aura, our hosts. The property is a 10 minute walk from the centre of Fira and had everything we needed. The rooms were clean, relatively spacious and had an iron and aircon as nice to have extras. We also took a tour of the island with our hosts. We saw more than any other 5 hr tour offered and had a small group experience for a fraction of what a private tour would have cost. Don't even think about booking elsewhere for both the rooms and the tour. We cannot think of anything negative!

The bed super comfortable , great location and great service. The room is missing a small lamp to keep on in the evening.

Andrea was amazing. So kind, and so helpful! He helped us in booking transportation to and from the airport, and everything regarding our stay there went very smoothly. The staff was so nice, and the cleaning was impeccable, along with the complimentary breakfast. Highly recommend!

For a family run hotel, we were made feel like family from day one. Thank you Aura for making our stay so amazing. From start to finish we were looked after so well. She reached out to us 2 weeks prior via WhatsApp to answer any questions we had. The room was fantastic with amazing AC. The bed is very comfy with fresh sheets daily. The pool is wonderful and great for cooling down in. We let Aura know that my partner has MS and needed a room on ground level which was accommodated. Aura gave us multiple lifts into Fira town which is only a 10 minute walk away which we appreciated immensely. Thank you so much for making our trip to San Torini so special. We will be back!! ☺️
