Great staff. We had issues with the A/C in one of our rooms but the late night crew made three visits did some electrical and got it running. They even offered to relocate us to another hotel but they fixed it. Great service.

We stayed for 1 night and it was very pleasant for the price. The room and the bathroom are comfortable with an antique deco. The beds were soft, we had a great night sleep. The staff is really helpful.

Location out of central Florence, quiet, older decor, large room, comfortable bed, shower ok. There was a great breakfast downstairs, front desk very helpful, especially Lorenzo who went above and beyond. Will recommend to friends and would stay here again. Small leak in shower, otherwise everything great!

From the moment we arrived, Luca (the receptionist) was beyond attentive to us and our questions. We did a road trip through Europe and we all agreed that he was by far the nicest, friendliest person we met the whole trip. The room was as good as Luca's service: huge, well furnished, clean and comfortable. I wish I had found a store that sold the local tea they offered in the room, as it was the best I've ever had. The bathroom is big and with a functioning bathtub. The beds are comfy and warm. Breakfast was also great. We could not believe our luck having booked this place, strongly recommend it.

Great location, quiet area, cafes and restaurants close.

The location is just a bit far from the train station and city center. You need to walk around 15-20 mins from the train station. But obviously with the public transportation it would be much quicker.

Charming hotel, fabulous bathtub. Lovely breakfast and a garden area walled in by flowing jasmine in late May. A few steps from a great street of restaurants. As an older person, too far to walk to downtown Florence and the train station. If I was younger or in better shape, I'm sure this wouldn't be a consideration. I was told by the very kind front desk staff that there is an nearby trolley stop to train station.

The breakfast options were fantastic! Also, the piano in the reception area was a lovely asset. Our 14 year old niece enjoyed playing music for all. Pillow options would be nice; offer firm and soft pillows.

The jasmine out front was absolutely beautiful. The staff was kind. The breakfast was really good NO HOT WATER. There are some basic things ya need. That's a big one. Also, the bathtub base and tile floor were dangerously slippery. Desk lamp was broken. Not enough outlets for their equipment. Either you can see, or the telephone works. Not both. There seemed to be staff at the outdoor bar, but he kind of sat there smoking cigarettes at a table.

Close to Florence sights but far enough away from the hubbub. The staff are helpful and friendly and the breakfast is nice.

Location, Room , Cleanliness, breakfast all great, front on a main square where there was higher amount of noise

the room was big, and the breakfast was very good; staff was friendly and tried to make the stay enjoyable; the first room we got was right on the corner of the street, and given the room windows aren't really modern, there was a lot of noise from the trafic. The staff was friendly enough to change it, with one that was on the other side of the building ( no view, but quieter ) throughout the ground and first floor, there is an 'old building' smell, which the staff tried to cover with a perfume, the mix is not really successful. the bathrooms and the AC system needs modernization; in the bathrooms the bathtubs are old definitely not at a 4* grade anymore. The AC system is making a lot of noise, and there isn't really a good way to control that.

Clean, spacious rooms and nice facilities. Staff were very professional and accommodating. Breakfast was fantastic and the price was shockingly good.

Great location, friendly staff and lovely room. Breakfast ok but perhaps a bit more attention to keeping things topped up ( was nice though.) Breakfast bag as we left early was a lovely touch.
