Super nice people at reception, very helpful for booking tours. Wonderful buffet breakfast included scrambled eggs, bacon, chicken sausages, coffees, muffins, croissants and several bread options, like banana bread. Lemon and carrot cake pastries. Seemed like something for everyone. The room had 5 twin beds, with 2 of them put together as a king size bed. Lovely and comfy pillows. Located close to the S M Novella train station and a nice stroll to the Duomo. So many restaurants and shops around! All good.

Everything about this place met and exceeded our expectations! Staff was so nice and inviting! They even had breakfasts bags packed for us because we had to be at our tour too early to enjoy at the hotel.

The location was perfect. The beds were very comfortable. The front desk agents were the very best. They were very friendly and helpful The shower stall was very small and elevator very old.

Beds were a bit stiff and slightly uncomfortable to lay on.

Our stay at this hotel was fantastic! The staff were incredibly friendly and always ready to help. The location is perfect, making it easy to reach every part of the city. The breakfast was delicious and offered plenty of variety. The room was very comfortable and clean, ideal for relaxing after a long day. I would definitely choose this hotel again without hesitation.

The location is fantastic. Very convenient to the train station and all the sites in Florence. We were able to walk everywhere. The hotel was very clean and all the staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great too! We were able to store our luggage after we checked out and picked it up later in the day, which was very helpful. Since it is downtown, there are lots of keys and codes to keep things secure. It wasn’t a big deal just different than we are used to.

It was very close to the train station, which is what we needed. The street was a little bit rundown but the hotel it’s itself was nice. We also enjoyed that we got to go to their sister property nearby, they had a Rooftop terrorist which we did not really utilize as it was cold but my mom and sister stayed there in the spring and they loved it. It was a little bit inconvenient that if we wanted to use a microwave, we would’ve had to walk down the street to that hotel to use theirs as the Astrid does not have one in their lobby. The elevator was a little bit scary as it is very old and it was inconvenient that if someone on a different floor did not shut the door completely we would have to walk up the stairs and they were quite a lot of them. It was also a little bit offputting that the staffpointed out that we didn’t utilize their breakfast each morning. I kind of felt like it was not their business to be saying that.

We stayed for two nights and overall it was satisfactory. They need to upgrade the elevators.
