Felt like you are staying with a local family. Very rustic and Italian. Very personalized and prompt communication. Wonderful restaurant recommendations and assistance. The mattress was lumpy.

Lorenzo was very attentive to our needs.

Beautiful room! The resort is an old beautiful house. The mr. in charge was lovely. The breakfast delicious and with variety. Very close to all the main areas to visit.

Cozy, small and clean! Authentic and fascinating interior. Good Italian-style breakfast in a small romantic courtyard. Friendly and caring service. Excellent location! Just a few minutes walk from the main attractions of Florence’s old town. The location is also very convenient for those traveling by car, as parking is available (for an additional fee of €30 per night) in the nearby hotel’s parking area. Warm recommendations to everyone planning to enjoy a good night’s sleep and a pleasant atmosphere in Florence.

The only issue that we had was the temperature of the water in the bathroom. The water could have been warmer, but this was a minor issue and would not stop us from staying again.

The staff was so helpful, the room was stunning and the ceilings so tall that at 6' I felt short! That I should have planned to stay much longer than just four days!

Cozy, great amenities and location We had a room right beside the breakfast room, so people were sometimes right at the door without realizing.

Understanding that for this trip I searched for quirky, character accommodations, this hotel was that. There may be stairs to your room, the bathroom may be smaller, the furnishings a bit old school. But, you have to be willing to embrace that. Our room was up a flight of stairs, had a small balcony and was private away from the street noise. It was clean and freshened daily. Our host, Lorenzo, was great! He provided us with lots of helpful information, as well as answering our many follow-up questions. As with all three accommodations we chose, I would have appreciated the toiletries including shampoo and conditioner. I'm also not sure why there were not tissues, only toilet paper. I did appreciate breakfast included, but would have liked more variety as we stayed there five nights. The location requires a little more walking distance from the main attractions, but we learned to adapt to that in all the places we visited.

Breakfast was delicious, with pastries and yogurts and a beautiful machine that was available 24/7 to make fantastic coffee. The setting was an enclosed courtyard, magical and serene. The rooms were quirky in a good way and the hosts were attentive and helpful. The restaurant next door was our favorite in Florence, welcoming and with delicious local food. Nothing.
