Grand Hotel Adriatico

Me and my friend came to spend 1 night in Florence and we which an amazing hotel located in downtown. The staff are amazing and whenever I call I need something, they bring on spot . The location is super great , our room was clean, I liked it while it was not on view their breakfast was incredible and they let us to do late check out . The vibes of the hotel was wonderful, definitely I will come back again !!!

I love everything about the property. The location, the room, the service is exceptional.

Staff and cleanliness. Nice rooms and amenities. Parking lot gated was a plus! Location was good if you can walk to the local sights.

Lovely hotel in great location. Staff very friendly. Room was spacious and had all amenities required. Great that bottled water was provided free on a daily basis. Breakfast and staff were very good. There is nothing we can think of that we did not like.

We had a fantastic stay with a spacious, comfortable room, an excellent breakfast, friendly and helpful staff, and a convenient location close to the station and within a short walk of the Duomo and Ponte Vecchio

Outfated

An absolute 10/10 experience! Clean, modern, and perfectly located. Outstanding hospitality! The staff are the real gems of this place. Exceeded all expectations. Best hotel room we’ve stayed in by far!

The rooms were outdated, the sink it the bathroom was clogged, the electricty went out at 7pm and didnt come back on until 8am the next day. I called about the sink and they send that they would send one to fix it. Which didn't happen, electricity was only off for over 13 hrs and the front desk didnt offer any type of discount or extra amenities and the breakfast was basic due to the electricity but still they could have started services at 8am. I asked if they had a generator for emergencies.

Overall the property was very nice and well maintained. The room was comfortable and welcoming although a little dark. Unfortunately, stayed in a room on the 1st floor that looked out at the building next door which was being renovated. But, luckily we were not in the room during the day so light was not an issue. For our specific room the bathroom shower door needed repair and the entire shower/tub enclosure was a serious safety issue for anyone with mobility issues.

I need to tell the WORLD how great this hotel is, so please read! The location, great! The room, great! The food, great, but the people, OMG! This morning, I asked for a certain item not expecting to get it and fearing if I got it, others would start asking for it. The young man at the desk informed me that housekeeping would bring to the room while we were at breakfast. It wasn’t there so on checkout, I inquired as our Uber waited outside. I said “it’s ok, don’t worry about it, thank you, but we have to get to train station. I’m telling you, 4 ppl went into hyper mode and delivered the item within 1 minute. I was so impressed that As I rushed out to Uber, I left my phone on the counter there….with my digital train tickets on it! I’m in an Uber, my daughter is calling the hotel, mind you our Italian skills are meh, the uber driver is talking to them, our train is leaving at 11:28 and it’s 11:15. The Uber is taking us back to hotel to get phone when the General Manager calls my daughter’s phone to say “no I’m bringing it!” So the driver turns to go back to train station. It’s a madhouse. The Uber tells us where to stand. Within a minute, a frantic man in a very nice Italian suit is looking like he’s looking for someone so we ran to him and he pulled my phone out of his pocket. He had to have run there because they told us it would be faster to walk back to hotel than drive when we were headed back. I tried to give him Euros. He refused and said “MY pleasure”. It’s now 11:30, we run in and look for train # and guess what? Train is delayed 15 mins. LOOK AT GOD! Not a thing

The service, constant attention to our accommodation and comfort were outstanding. We felt like privileged guests who's standing and every requests were treated as important and fulfilled with excellence. Room and guest services, concierge, all of the staff but especially house keeping and maids were excellent. I would recommend this hotel as a wonderful stay in the center of florence, with a location well suited to visiting the historic Florence and main shopping streets yet surprisingly quiet. The grand Hotel Adriatico is definitively over-performing its 4 star class.

Late chekout was not possible, hotel was busy with incoming guests.

Great location to explore Florence!

Needs benches outside. Gunk was on my night stand when we arrived. Gross brown spot on the wall. Tub doesn’t drain properly. Art in the room needs replacing with other pieces in the hotel. The floors in the room were beat to hell. Huge chunks missing.
