Parking garage nearby, which (sometimes) offers valet parking and costs reasonable 25 EUR/day. Spatious room with air conditioning. Breakfast and bar with inexpensive drinks (excellent Aperol spritz for 5 EUR). Pretty nice staff. Not easy to navigate to; ZTL should not scare one away, but you only learn that once you call the hotel. Uncomfortable beds. The breakfast is uninspired. Looks a little run down.

Amazing location, rooms were a bit old but everything was very clean. Breakfast was nice, specially cause there’s a terrace with a view. The bed wasn’t very comfortable.

The room next to us had bed bugs but the staff said not to worry about it because it was already being taken care of. Unfortunately, after our 2nd night in the hotel we started noticing bites on our skin that weren't there the evening before. After 3rd night it was even worse. When the issue was raised to booking.com, along with the photos as evidence, they contacted the hotel on our behalf. But they were unable to come to agreement with the hotel so no kind of compensation or refund was granted. I certainly will not be staying there again but future guests of this establishment may do with this review whatever they wish. Thank you for reading and I wish you a pleasant holidays.

There is nothing I didn't like

The location is fantastic. Alex at the front desk made me feel so welcome. Breakfast was good, and they have a nice outdoor space for eating or watching the sunset. The bed and pillows weren’t the best, but the room is clean and provides everything you need.

Great location, lovely breakfast and breakfast area, the room has a balcony, which was very nice, it's in great condition despite not being new. Responsive staff. We could leave our bags at the hotel before check-in time and after checkout. There was no shower enclosure or shower tray.

They gave me a room without a accesible window and only a little window on the sealing that couldn't be closed at reach (so on the day very dark the room, and on the morning very iluminated to sleep). Also the bathroom did not a proper shower, there was no glass so the WC and all the bathroom floaded when bathing. Also, is NOT a twin bed. Nothing like the photos and for the expensive price, not what I payed for.

The AC was really noisy

The hotel was close to the Duomo and the historic area of Florence, which made the location convenient. The breakfast and the staff were excellent. The location of the hotel itself was not the greatest. Lots of graffiti riddled buildings in the area. I saw a drug deal go down in the plaza close to the hotel. So, not necessarily an area for families with small children. However, I never felt unsafe or threatened. The hotel policy required guests to leave their key with the front desk when they left the hotel. This was inconvenient for guests on the first floor, considering the the front desk was on the fourth floor, and the single elevator was in use. After of day of lots of walking and feeling hot and tired, it was a bit taxing to trudge up the stairs to retrieve the key. Often times, it was faster using the stairs than waiting for the elevator.

The staff was very helpful with suggestions and helping arrange transportation. Very friendly. Great location! Steps away from pharmacy, grocery, restaurants and sightseeing locations. It had a rooftop deck that we were able to watch a spectacular fireworks show in the evening without the crowds!!! Can’t think of anything.

It was nostalgia and the room was very clean.

I love this hotel. The staff is always friendly. The rooms are always clean. The AC works great, and the mini-fridge in the room also works amazingly well! It’s a great little hotel in the perfect location in Florence. It’s a little small, but I knew that when I booked so I wasn’t disappointed at all. It’s a great hotel.

The location and breakfast were both great. Tiny uncomfortable toilet which was a shower at the same time. Cold water. Small pillows and uncomfortable beds.

1) Friendly staffs 2) Simple but clean room 3) Consider good location 4) Simple breakfast 5) Can storega the luggages after check out. No water is provided in the room, but guests are allowed to refill tap water at the reception area. I asked for hot water, and the staff at the counter told me I could use the kettle to boil water. However, when I opened the kettle, it was quite dirty inside.
