Very well located, close to Il Duomo. Lots of good restaurants nearby. Having to climb so many flights of stairs with your luggage was quite painful. The breakfast buffet quality was really lacking. Cheap cheap food prions. I have stayed in many hotels in Florence and across Italy where breakfast is included and have had much better breakfasts for cheaper hotels

Location and confortable room

My 5 friends and I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights for our first time abroad together on a years trip (17 and 18 year olds) so of course we were quite apprehensive, but it was the most delightful stay. The staff were absolutely lovely and provided us with everything we needed, when our ac broke it was fixed within 30 minutes, the breakfast had so many options and was delicious. The hotel is also in an absolutely perfect location, with a vintage clothes store right next door, and a jewelry store across the street, it was an extremely short walk to the Duomo and the central square and my friends and I were able to return back to the hotel when it was too hot in a less than 15 minute walk. The only gripe is the 4 flights of stairs you must walk up to reach the hotel which sometimes tired us more than the walk itself, especially with suitcases. However, after going up it a few times it began to feel much easier and was not a problem at all.

Started with the stairs. We were told the hotel is located on the 2nd floor with no lift. However, there were 4 sets of 20 something steps each. I didn't count them but I think I'm close on that number. No one met us at the bottom to help us with our luggage when we arrived. There was a young lady at the desk that helped with the last set of stairs after I went ahead and asked for help. Then the AC did not work well at all. they sent a "tech" to look at it and he came in looked at the remote and said it was fine. It was not fine! I asked for another room and was told they didn't have anything, that they were fully booked . It was so unbearable in that room that I had to move my family to another hotel the very next day. When I went to check out, the manager who I was not allowed to have his name or contact info, was there and said he could move us to another room now but that there is nothing wrong with that one, he said "that is euro AC "...we have already been to 4 different cities in Europe and had great AC. Also noone even mentioned another room until I went to check out and if that's their definition of good working AC what good would another room be... I asked for some kind of reimbursement but was told no. So not only did I need to find accommodations at the last minute I got stuck with that bill as well. The tech/night desk man and manager were extremely rude and aggressive towards me that I wouldn't have stayed there if they had offered the room at no charge. On top of all of that the mini fridge didn't work and was extremely hot to touch which we told them about but according to them it was fine and the black mold in the shower was fine too!

Pillows are very flat, faucet loose and coming away from the sink, lampshades are stained, just generally very run down and things in need of maintenance or replacement. Disappointing price for the quality of the room.

Location is perfect - in the heart of Florence, close to almost everything. Staff were funny, kind, helpful and conscientious. Breakfast was good and lots of it. Air conditioning was much appreciated. All the amenities in our very large room worked perfectly. Nothing to dislike

All good

Location is central, staff is very client oriented, breakfast is pleasant especially hot croissants? Love the view out of the window with birds flying and singing in the morning, a lot of nice restaurants and cafes nearby. All was nice

Breakfast was not bad. Staff was nice. They didn't even make our bed when they cleaned our room. They mop the floor and it was sticky and damp.

His hotel is centrally located, providing easy access to restaurants and shopping. The bathroom and shower were modern and large enough for comfortable showers. A nice breakfast is provided. The staff was excellent and very willing to accommodate our travel needs. All in all this was a suitable place for a short stay. Our room was listed as a 2 bedroom, when in fact it was a large single room with a wide opening in the middle. There was no privacy between the rooms until I took a blanket and hung it as a room divider. This would be great for parents with small children, but not for 2 couples or travelers with older teenagers. It is listed as a 2nd floor hotel with no lift. One must remember that in Europe, the ground floor is zero, then one and two. It was a hike up four very long and steep flights of stairs to reach the office. Our room had mold on the ceiling and wall of the bedroom and ceiling of the bathroom. We notified the desk clerk upon check-out. Unknown if the addressed this issue.

Location Hard to find
-
The location was fantastic and staff was extremely helpful. Wished there was a lobby or place to sit that was not in the room.
-
Location was good, close to major attractions. Breakfast was ok. Staff was friendly and helpful. My room was tiny. There was a constant low rumbling noise that kept me from sleeping. Pillows were awful. The hike up the stairs with a suitcase was challenging.

Nearby everywhere, breakfast was great. Holding onto my luggage while I did things in the area N/A

Super friendly welcome, great location, good breakfast Not easy to find from street level - but not a complaint. Trust street numbers, not Google maps.

The hotel was perfect. It was in a great location. We had a fantastic time in Florence. It was our first visit and we made great memories. The stairs. It was difficult having to carry your luggage too.

It's in the 2nd floor and you need to take stairs, no elevator.
