Location No negatives

Location is best. My family could easily reach David, the Dome, Uffizi, Vecchio, Santa Novella and all the other spots except for those on the other side of the river like the Plaza of Michelangelo. My family enjoyed many fancy but reasonable restaurants within a few minutes' walk. The room was really quiet and my family had good rests without being disturbed by noises. Also the staff's responses are really excellent. The things I would like the hotel to improve are: - the quality of cappuccino served in the breakfast. It tasted a little too milky, though it may be standard in Italy. - we would prefer a fridge in the room, though another room may have one.

Location was great Price and Elevator to reception was out of order so carrying our luggage up and down the 3 flights of stairs was not cool
-
We had to leave the key at the reception every time we were leaving the hotel. There was always some stuff at the reception so no dealy while collecting it when we would come back but this process was annoying.
-
The elevator was broken from the ground floor to the lobby so lugging suitcases up was not fun.
-
Honestly only the location. Nothing about the property worth the money to be honest, not even the elevator works and you have to take you luggage on your back and go up the stairs, which are very very narrow! The room was disgusting as well as the view out the windows (BOH) and the bathroom.

Location and staff were excellent...TV access was not good but that's ususally in Europe since only local channels available in Italian....They even accomodadted us in one of their other buildngs apartments when we decided to stay a couple of extra nights since the hotel was filled.. mostly we missed TV access at nights since it was only local Italilan TV...But that was the case in other Hotels in Rome and Venice, too...

Convenient and very good location. Elevator is not working going to the reception area.

I really liked the hotel! It’s the best location for Florence (2min on foot to the Duomo) and it’s very clean, comfy and the personnel very friendly. Nothing. I loved the hotel!

good location close to attractions, shopping, decent restaurants very near by, breakfast had good variety. elevator out of service (but hotel's fault). Watch for errors by google maps - walked unnecessarily a few more miles during my stay.in florence.

Staff was friendly and helpful, great location The elevator was out of service, too many steps to climb up to reception with suitcases, my family member has a bad knee so found it very difficult, Room was a little tight for 3 adults But location was great

The location is excellent. Right in the center of Florence and easy walking to everything. About a 15 minute walk to the train station. The reception staff when we arrived was friendly and welcoming, allowing us to check in early and explained the location of the bar and breakfast room. The breakfast was varied and the person working was very efficient. No hot water for the first 36 hours or so of our stay, allegedly due to city utility work. Plenty of cold water but apparently the city must pipe in the hot water. After the first 36 hours I asked the desk staff about the water situation and was told it wasn't their fault. The weather was damp and humid and we both really would have appreciated a warm shower, especially for the price of the room. Our room was cramped and crowded with nonfunctional furniture, like a clothes cupboard that could not be opened because it was blocked by the bed. The small TV was on top of another cupboard designed to hold a mini fridge without a mini fridge inside. No place in the bathroom to hang a towel. No hooks, no towel bar only a heated rack with the capacity to hold one bath towel that was installed over/on top of the light switch. Incredibly poor design. The mattress on the bed was worn and not comfortable. The breakfast had one coffee machine and every morning of our three day stay guests were lined up to get a cup of weak machine espresso. The elevator can hold two people or one person and one suitcase. One day we witnessed a young woman with a stroller trying to use the elevator and she struggled quite some time to get herself and the stroller in the elevator. We used the stairs throughout our stay.

No elevator, and bed in 2do flor same room

The location is perfect! Close to everything in Florence. The elevator was broken. So many stairs. For someone with a bad knee, this hotel is not for you. The rooms are so tiny, no place for the luggage. The breakfast was minimal.

Clean, close to main attractions
