Hotel Embassy

The staff were very accommodating. We were close to all the famous landmarks. Our rooms were clean and beautifully laid out. The breakfast was the best breakfast I’ve ever had in Europe. The trains and street traffic kept me up. They only quit from midnight to about 5AM.

Cleaning and breakfast staff was lovely. Impossible to stay in a room with no A/C under the Florence heat. It was extremely uncomfortable in the room and we had trouble sleeping all 3 nights. Staff helped with a fan, but it was not enough considering the absurd heat.

Good breakfast

Very close to the train station. A very classy, clean and well appointed hotel. The AC in the room was able to cope with the 39c outside temperature. The included breakfast was one of the best I have ever had.

Excellent location. Close to the train and attractions. Excellent value. The breakfast was fantastic.

Didn’t feel the air conditioner got cool enough. Realized I had to open drapes to expose AC vent.

Alessandro was a great host and help managed our requirements at the location. Really liked his prompt service, attention to detail and pleasing personality. He is really awesome and added the required human value to the already amazing facility. Nothing to mention here

The personal attention we received from Alessandro made our stay feel like we had a home and family to come back to after a busy day of exploring the city. Nothing I can think of.

The rooms were very clean, a good standard, and the breakfast decent. What stood out the most for me was the hotel staff. They were friendly, had good advice, and were very helpful. One day I forgot my mobile in my guide's car, and Alessandro, in the reception, went out of his way to help me get my phone back. I am so very grateful - thank you, Alessandro! Regular hotel and traffic sounds could be heard, but it wasn't too much.

I wouldn't rate this hotel highly. It's located near the train station, which is a very dirty and noisy area. Our room was full of mosquitoes, and we spent three days trying to get rid of them. The rooms have suspended ceilings, so the mosquitoes were hiding there. It was a nightmare. The beds were not comfortable. The hotel could make more effort to improve the so-called garden between the two buildings. It only has a couple of tables and a few chairs, making it feel quite uninviting. The breakfast was nothing special either. I would not stay here again.

Very convenient to the airport. Clean and beautifully decorated. Nice breakfast. It’s at least a 20 minute walk to the main area of Florence so good to prepare if you are looking for a more central location.

Location

The breakfast was the best at this location! We highly recommend! The scrambled eggs, bacon and incredible assortment of options was unparalleled. And the coffee was so smooth, so nutty and delicious. High recommend!

The location, which initially I felt was too close to the train, was great for that same reason! We could easily ditch our heavy bags and get out into the city, and then walk to the station upon our departure. The hotel was charming, our room attractive, and the breakfast good. I would definitely stay there again! My only complaint was that that the desk couldn't change a 20 so that we could leave a tip for the housekeeper. That seemed odd.

Location - comfort- well appointed- older but very nice- hidden; off the beaten path and close to train station and a few mini markets and restaurants - STAFF was wonderful!!! Especially Allesandro!! Frederico.. and Luca.. true professionals that take pride in their work! Nothing it was all good - very short stay - but would go back again and will recommend

Less than 5 minute walk to the train station, and very quiet. The room was comfortable and clean, and the staff were very friendly. We will definitely try and stay here again.
