Location was perfect because we were heading to the train station early the next morning. Since we were leaving in the early morning hours, our host brought some breakfast items to our room the day before (yogurt, fruit and juice). I thought that was a nice touch.

Convenient location. Close to train station Room cleaned daily but no refill of mini bottle shampoo which barely lasted 2 days. And we stayed more than that. If you need additional shampoo , you will need to request ahead of time.

Everything was perfect for our 3-night stay! Sylvia was such a delight and very helpful! The room wasn't quite ready when we arrived (earlier than expected) and we were able to stow our luggage there. The location is less than a 10-minute walk to/from the train station. We chose our breakfast options the night before and Sylvia delivered it at our requested time. Nothing!

Maybe the price a bit high.

From our initial communications to when we checked out, Sylvia was a marvelous host and no one could have been more cheerful, helpful or easy to deal with.. also her restaurant recommendations were excellent. The apartment is close to the station for those - like us - arriving by train, and wanting easy access to the sights. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable and there was a fridge and a kettle in the room. The main negative is sort of unconnected to La Locandiera and that is the relative value for money offered by Florence apartments. We stayed in similar accommodation Lucca and Siena for half the price, so you could say the value for money does not compare to these place, but by Florentine standards, we got our money's worth. Another issue I should mention is the current shambles at Pisa Airport over the EES system. We "enjoyed" a 2,5 hour wait at immigration while over a thousand people were milling about waiting to use one of three EES machines. If we were in Florence again, we would certainly stay here, but we would not want to use an Italian airport while they are such a shambles. Businesses depending on tourism need to pressure the authorities to get their house in order.

Lovely B &B, only 5 minute walk from train station. In a quiet section, but you can easily walk to the Duomo and other sights in 15 min. The host, Silvia, was the best... answered all of our questions with a smile and delivered a wonderful breakfast to our room each morning.
