It was lovely having a pool and a large room with outside space. The space was comfortable and we could really spread out without feeling cramped. It was a very well equipped room and the spa bath was magnificent. It was only a short walk down the river into town, and there was a mini market around the corner. The hotel wasn’t staffed with a receptionist onsite so we communicated via a speaker at the door. It wasn’t too bad, but after a long walk with all our luggage it was difficult to navigate just stood on the pavement in the baking sun. It would have been nice to have the coffee pods replenished.

Maria checked us in and she was so accommodating. After a hectic day of travel with a delayed train, she made our day by upgrading us to the terrace room. This room was amazing, super spacious, a lovely terrace and a jacuzzi bath in the room. Thank you Maria Nothing

Location was good. Modern facilities. Big room. Front door not working. TV not plugged in. Slight sewage smell from bathroom. No mosquito protection. Shower door difficult to open.

The Photos on Booking. Nothing else Cold water in the room (how can I use the hot tube if I cannot do a shower without freeze?). Property didn’t answer my calls. When they did, they said they cannot help me and they cannot refound my reservation or give me a different solution. My experience has been very bad. I strongly suggest different options.

This is not a 5-star hotel. There is not any facilities except for the room. No restaurant, no bar, The staff performed very well when present between 09.00 - 17.00.

The whole place is beautifully finished and very modern My room was full of mosquitos, I counted a total of 27 bites on the morning of the third day - when we arrived the room smelled of fresh paint so I suspect the windows had been left open while it dried The location is a little bit of a walk if you're expecting to be in the old city but you can make it to the cathedral in around 25 minutes or so. It's definitely a boutique hotel, there is a pool as one facility but really nothing else and no staff after 5pm, don't be expecting a hotel bar/lounge or cafe etc - nevertheless with all on offer in Florence, why would you want to eat in the hotel!
