Very good location on the river
-
Welcome was lovely. The gentleman in the afternoon is so helpful - made some lovely restaurant recommendations & gave us prosecco. Room was spacious & cool and include a fridge & kettle. Nice outside terrace on the ground floor & roof- although far too hot to be up there. Lovely location on the river, in a really quiet part of town. It is a 20 min walk to the centre, but that wasn’t an issue along the river taking in the views. Nothing I can think of really! Breakfast was quite a lot if you wanted it - €25, maybe a little cheaper would be more enticing.

The hotel name is very similar to another one, In fact identical except for the 50. I in fact thought I was booking the other, superior, hotel and was shocked when we arrived to find that we were at an entirely different hotel , which did not even offer room service, let alone the spa and two restaurants we were expecting. This is a very misleading situation and the two hotels- both owned by the Ferragamo group - would do well to change one of their names.we stayed one night and then returned to our previous hotel, which was centrally located and far, far superior though with the same star rating. The Lungarno hotel refused to refund us for the extra nights we had booked for, and did not even offer us a free drink as a gesture of goodwill. Pretty shabby. I cant imagine hiw this place achieved a four-star rating. It is poorly maintained and there are signs of damp and decay everywhere. The rooms were clean enough but grim - everything was grey and white and the lighting was inadequate. It felt like being in a crypt. Their much- vaunted roof terrace was dirty and neglected - a broom and dustpan in a corner, yesterday's leaves and rubbish nor swept up, random chairs clustered here and there. There had been no attemp tto make this bleak space more attractive. The view was lovely but my companion and I were both badly bitten by some insect t that was definitely not a mosquito. Then we had to walk for a considerable distance to find something to eat. It is a long walk into the centre of Florence and the railway station is nearby. We had been warned not to venture into that area as it was dangerous so the only direction was along the river toward to the Ponte Vecchio. There seemed no point in staying, but we are out of pocket as a consequence. It was the only flaw in an otherwise wonderful visit to this charming city

We had a lovely stay here. It was located on a quiet street away from the hustle and bustle. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. The room was beautiful, spacious, and the complimentary water and coffee was a lovely addition. We would absolutely love to stay here again next time we’re in Florence.

Great location, lovely warm welcome.

It was nicely furnished and had an f world charm about it. Location was a little far from city centre when temperatures were so high.
-
Good location and away from the crowds with easy access to the main attractions. No common area other than the dining room

It was cute & gave a boutique hotel feel Slightly out of the centre & the shower

The staff were amazing and friendly. We enjoyed our time and the quiet just far enough away from the city. But close enough to get to everything so easy

The location on the river, the very friendly and helpful staff, and the lovely buildi g and rooms made it a perfect Florence accomodation.

Just about everything. Room super nice with terrace patio and view. Quiet neighborhood. Very comfortable and staff very attentive and helpful. My only caution is location. It’s about a 15 minute walk to the center of town. But if you don’t mind walking, or taking a cab as we sis because of the heat, it’s A lovely hotel. Our second stay.
