Terrible stay. Their air conditioning systems were not working, and all of them were displaying an error code indicating a problem with the central system. They changed our room, but the second room had the exact same problem with the air conditioning. On top of that, the curtain was still torn, and the bathroom window was moldy and damaged. Overall, it was an awful experience.

The location was convenient, and the staff did try to help when we reported that the air conditioning was not working properly by moving us to another room. Unfortunately, the AC was not working properly in the second room either. In Florence in August, having properly functioning air conditioning is essential, so this was a major issue during our stay. The air conditioning was not working properly in either of the rooms we were given. The first room was too hot, so we were moved to another room, but the AC there had exactly the same problem. The system displayed a message indicating 19°C, but the room was clearly nowhere near that temperature. We were told there was nothing else that could be done because it was “not that hot” and were advised to open the window. This is not a reasonable solution in Florence in August, especially with mosquitoes. Even the staff were sweating, which showed how uncomfortable the temperature actually was. My parents are 65 and were unable to sleep properly because of the heat, neither was I. We were told that the hotel could not cancel the stay or refund the money. The maximum they offered was €40 and not charging the city tax (€6 per person). Booking.com then sent us an offer for the €40 refund around midnight, with only four hours to accept it, until 4:00 AM, obviously while we were sleeping. In the end, we did not receive the €40 refund; the hotel simply did not charge the city tax, which amounts for less that 20 euros. For a hotel in Florence, where summer temperatures can be very high, reliable air conditioning should be a basic requirement. If the AC is set to a temperature around 25°C or simply cannot cool the room properly, guests should be informed before booking.

La struttura è moderna e dotata di tutti i comfort, oltre alla posizione centrale a due passi dalle principali attrazioni della città. Il personale è stato fantastico. Grazie Laura e collega (di cui purtroppo non ricordiamo il nome) per l’accoglienza, le informazioni fornite e la disponibilità. Nulla. Il soggiorno è stato perfetto.

Location, convenience and their staff were all very very good. The only improvement the need to make is either allow for AC to be at a lower temp or provide fans. The AC was just able to make the temp comfortable and nothing more. When weather hits 100 degrees consistently coming back to the hotel room should provide respite. AC was set at a high temp that didn’t make it feel cool. Bathroom was very very small.

Mostly the Staff, the manager was excellent, sweet, helpful, and always ready to advise and help. The hotel is within walking distance to most main attractions in Firenze. The room was quiet and comfortable, with a good bathroom and silent air conditioning. Breakfast was really good, lots of choices, fruits, yogurt, breads, etc.

The location is very good, close to the train station and the old center The bathroom was tiny, under 1m wide, hard to move even for an average size person. Also, not at all sound proofed, you can hear everything at night, can be hard to sleep.

The staff was friendly and the room was very clean

The lovely reception lady! The view from our window. The other staff who were all so helpful and friendly. And the breakfast! They went above and beyond to find amazing vegan options for me and I LOVED it There wasn’t anything I didn’t like.
