Good location. Comfortable rooms. After a long day of travel we got to our room which was extremely warm. I checked the thermostat and it was set to 30°C (86°F)! I couldn’t turn it colder. The phone didn’t work ether. I immediately went downstairs to let the front desk know. When I returned a couple of hours later the front desk guy blamed me for hitting the button. I had no idea what he was talking about as I didn’t hit any button. I tried to explain that but he raised his voice and kept blaming me. As I was with my family I just walked away. Turns out there is a button in the wall ACROSS from the thermostat that turns the power off to the whole room. He could have explained that instead of getting angry at me. Clearly the cleaning staff turned the power off and set the temperature to 30°C.

We loved the location a the guest rooms were very nice. The lobby was extremely small. The check out process was not up to 4 star serve. Certainly still very good, but just not super warm and inviting.

Quiet, elegant hotel a block from the Duomo and Piazza Signoria! In the heart of Florence, but apart from all the craziness of the crowds! Arrived late, but met by friendly & helpful staff. Delicious breakfast with attentive staff. Perfect place to stay in this beautiful city!

The property was in the heart of the Florence with many sites within easy walking distance. The room was clean and comfortable and our stay included a delicious breakfast each morning. The customer service at this hotel was OUTSTANDING!!! Each desk representative was incredibly knowledgeable and was able to offer answers to every question asked and every service needed. Laura was a standout!! The hospitality staff was also friendly, helpful, gracious, and unobtrusive. We could not it have asked for better customer service! Our experience in Florence was enhanced by the wonderful management and staff at this hotel and we highly recommend this facility.
