The staff was very nice and helped us plan our trip around Firence. Our room and the rest of the hotel were perfectly clean and we really liked the comfortable bed. Another great thing about the hotel is the cozy rooftop terrace with a nice view on the dome.

The location was quiet and the room was lovely. Getting into the hotel was a little different - the hotel is on the third floor of a residential apartment building, so you enter like a local and then climb the main stairwell to the hotel front desk. This adds to the sense of being a temporary resident of the community, and not just another tourist. The room was lovely, and having access to an espresso machine in the morning was a nice addition. The rooftop terrace was cozy with a lovely view.

Location, staff and cleaning was amazing Didn’t have elevator but it’s ok

Front desk staff super friendly and a good source of information. Excellent location - 5 mins to the Duomo and Santa Croce. Hotel kindly have a room with complimentary coffee machine and bakery/biscuits - we sat on the roof terrace in the mornings with this as a basic breakfast. Good air con. Our room faced the street but was very quiet. For the price of the accommodation there were no faults - all good.

The hotel is amazing! Located right in the centre, amazing rooftop, helpful and nice staff! Coffee area is so nice, you can grab snacks and drinks, really lovely!!!

very helpful staff, rooftop open 24/7 absolutely loved eveything

Excellent location and friendly, responsive staff. Be prepared for the 3 story climb daily (porter was not available when we arrived to help with our luggage). Be sure not to get one of the two front rooms at the top of the staircase! You hear everyone coming in all hours of the night and conversations at the front desk. Coffee, juice, and snacks provided throughout the day were an unexpected surprise.

The location was very near the duomo, and the Italian guy at the reception he was helpful and informative . There is a small terrace area with an amazing view to the duomo, perfect for a little colder evening, but difficult very narrow stairs to it. 1- wasn't aware that the hotel rooms are on the 3rd floor of a very old building without any elevators 2- the air-conditioning unit made a water accident that costed us to change the room and lose a sweater due to very big stain. 3- the toilet despite the renovation, it stinks of sewage smell. 4- the flush in the new room works 50% or less. 5- thin walls that makes you everything especially when there were noisy guests late in the evening and in the middle of the night

Didn't have water for a few hours one day, not a lot of in-room amenities, and three fights of stairs (no elevator)
