Hotel Meridiana

The hotel is about a 15-minute walk from Santa Maria del Fiore. It's not a modern-looking hotel, but that's to be expected for the price. If you're renting a car, the nearby Parterre municipal underground parking garage costs €15 per day and is just a short walk from the hotel. There's also a supermarket, several pizzerias, bakeries, and restaurants within walking distance, which is very convenient. Overall, it's a great place to stay for the price. Everything was fine.

Good location. Small but comfortable and everything essentials in the room ?

It is just outside the ZTL and has its own parking, so it is perfect if you bring your car. Reservation needed. It is at walking distance from the center. The whole facility is a bit "vintage". Un update will be needed soon.

The breakfast was good and the price was great too. The inability to control the air conditioning was a downside for us. Additionally, it would be helpful to have hooks in the bathroom for hanging towels, especially for families of four.

The ac didn't work. When windows left open eaten by mosquitos

Oh, I forgot some stuff at the room (cosmetics), but no one reminded me about that. Although I had checked out, I still returned to retrieve my stored luggage.

close to bus station for city center. free parking spots nearby if you are lucky i had a bad experience during checkin. we booked triple room in which my family 2 adults three kids can be easily accommodated based on our previous bookings in paris and italy. we booked non refundable room through booking . com and during checkin there was one lady manager who refused to give room and resulted in me buying another room at spot. May be they were following some rules from govt although during my 14 days italy and france trip this was the only hotel who objected one room exceeding capacity. The receptionist boy was trying to accommodate but the female manager was too stubborn to grant room.

Since it is a hotel we were able to be checked in at 11:30PM so that is a good point about the property and for a night stay it did the job well

Hotel was a bit farther from city center, but easy to access bus/tram for a 15 minute ride to sites. Breakfast was great. The staff were welcoming and wonderful!

The location It was like an hotel from 70s. It was very poor quality according the price you must pay to stay. I was totally disappointment.

Everything was perfect, the internet the view, beds are comfortable and it was very clean, near the city center The receptionists were very helpful and kind, they literally helped us about everything, special thanks to Filippo, you are the best man!

Staff! They always made us feel comfortable and helped us with our questions and requests. Its a Basic hotel located in a quiet neighbour just outside ZTL. Good restaurants and shops in the vicinity and as its not a tourist packed area prices are more friendly. All 4 Beds were comfortable, I must also point out, its a pretty quiet hotel. A little far away from main attractions and old center (around 700m to Accademia and 1,3 Km to Duomo), just outside Firenze's ZTL (a big plus if you come by car) and with a tram station just 200m (another plus). Shower box was a little thight for my frame but manageable for a couple of days. Overral, a good experience! Hotel is a little dated and basic, but sometimes you don't need more; location wise could be a little extra walking distance from attractions, but the surronding area is quiet and with adequate infrastructure (Some nice restaurants, bars, farmacy, supermarket, kids play area, hairdresser and shops in a 300mt radius).

The location is pretty close to the city center, the personal was nice, good value for the money. The hotel is pretty old, the rooms needs some renovations. We bad our room with the windows facing the main street and it was pretty noisy

My friend and her son stayed at this hotel on my recommendation. They were very unhappy - the room was much smaller than described, although the reservation was for 2 people, man and 8-year-old child, the bed was so small that the child could barely sleep. There was no drainage system in the bathroom and after bathing, water flooded the room. When they were sleeping, someone tried to open the door of the room at night and when they heard a noise inside, only then did they leave. They were lucky that the key was still in the lock. The description also states that they work with American Express cards, but on the spot it turned out that the information was incorrect and they do not work. I am very disappointed and will not make the same mistake a second time, I will not advise anyone to stay at that hotel, I will not put people in a dangerous and uncomfortable situation.
