The room was large with high ceilings and very clean. It was right by all the action but so so quiet inside.
-
Great location, nice room with AC, and hosts were so kind and helpful!

Nice and vintage

Feels like a traditional Italian B&B nestled between Pasticerrie and Gelato store. Nice clean rooms with AC. Good location to walk 15 min to sunsets and historic sights. Quieter street - no cars, only walkers.

The best part of our stay was the warmth and helpfulness of the hosts, Mira and Francesco. We almost never hire private guides (they usually spout dates and names without filling in the details enough to make things interesting) but Francesco put together a half day tour catered to our interests and he was wonderful! Breakfast was at a bakery a few doors down with excellent pastries and coffee. Best bakery around and we returned there more than once. The stairs are steep but Francesco helped us both up and down, so not really a negative.

The shower needs a redo.

I loved the staff attentions, they were marvelous and gave us a bunch of recommendations and took the time to talk to us and guide us in the city

The location was close to many landmarks but just outside of all the hustle and bustle of the city center. Mira was also so friendly, happy to help and quick to respond to communication.

Location, simplicity, value. It's an older place, not slick or trendy -- simple, clean, and cozy. The staff is friendly, responsive, and excellent. Since it was winter and somewhat cold, it would be great to have instructions on operating the heat, and also to provide an extra blanket in the room. We had to text the staff to get the heating instructions, which would have been unnecessary if we simply had the instructions in the room.

The hosts were wonderful! They were great at communicating with us from even before I finalized the booking and took the time to help us quickly with anything we needed. The location was great and we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go.

Nothing.

We only received the breakfast one morning. The location was what we needed ;the couple that ran the place were so accommodating very helpful to our needs.. helped us get to where we had to go and made sure we were able to leave and come. They were wonderful, especially after we had experienced beforehand at Redidenzia. perfect hosts!

Had a short walk down the street to a pastry shop, but food was good and shop had an inside sitting area. Plus the shop people spoke English and were helpful with pastry selection. Construction at at of the street prevented Taxis from picking us up in front of Locanda, but we just walked to the next block over.

Room was beautiful … as well as clean and spacious. Same goes for the bathroom. Our hosts Mira and Francesco were GREAT … very friendly, welcoming, and helpful.
-
The common area was neat and well stocked with food/snacks and drink. I didn't like the fact that our "private bathroom" was actually down the hall with access from a hallway door... making it less than private. This part of the experience tainted our stay in Florence, as being that we typically need the use of the facilities at times in the middle of the night... and this required exiting our room in the middle of the night to walk down the hallway hoping not to stumble upon another guest in another room.

Easily walkable to everything but also a neighborhood feel. The host Mira was so helpful and has great recommendations and takes time to help with anything.
-
The host Mira, she was really nice and was always ready to help with everything we needed, even tips of places to visit.

The hosts are amazing. They were there every morning and answered any questions. They even offered to help us with our laundry. That was so great! We had to move rooms due to construction on one side of the building, but the host were very accommodating

Such wonderful hosts, the best we have met in all our travels! And a great location , quiet room, reasonably big for a city hotel, just wonderful. There are some roadworks and building being done nearby - end of May 2025 - but that’s life in the city…

Hosts were amazing. They first sat down with us to understand the sights we planned to visit and then printed a customized map with travel routes to help us navigate. All in all, were exceptional. Breakfast vouchers were presented for use at a neighboring restaurant for an authentic Italian breakfast experience. Room was architecturally preserved though updated.
