EVERYTHING FROM THE MOMENT I ARRIVED TO THE MOMENT I DEPARTED EXCEPTIONAL STAFF
-
The James Suite Hotel exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, the team made us feel genuinely welcome. Every member of staff was incredibly warm and personable, from the reception team to the wonderful breakfast host, who remembered our coffee orders each morning - a small gesture that made us feel truly looked after. The hotel itself is simply exceptional. Every detail has been designed to perfection, and it's easy to see why it has been featured in Architectural Digest. We were also fortunate to receive a complimentary room upgrade, and the suite was absolutely stunning. It is evident that no expense was spared in the design or quality of the hotel. The interiors are beautifully curated, and every amenity is of the highest standard, creating an atmosphere of both luxury and comfort. What truly sets The James apart, however, is its level of service. The attention to detail rivals that of the world's finest five-star hotels. The personalised turndown service was particularly memorable - the housekeeping team noticed that I prefer not to have the sheets tucked in at the foot of the bed while I sleep, and without ever being asked, they thoughtfully prepared it that way every evening. We also returned each day to a different complimentary snack waiting in our room, another lovely personal touch. The location is surrounded by a lovely food scene, and the staff recommended some great restaurants such as the Cibreo Caffe, which I highly recommend to those who stay in the James! Thank you to everyone at The James Suite Hotel for such a memorable stay. We cannot wait to return.

We spent a wonderful week in Florence and were absolutely delighted with this hotel. From the very first moments, we felt truly welcome. This is a rare place where a high level of comfort is combined with impeccable taste, warmth, and attention to every detail. The location is excellent: close to Florence’s main attractions, yet peaceful and private. It is clear that every element of the interior and every corner of the property has been created with love, care, and respect for beauty and history. A special thank you to the staff. Every member of the team was exceptionally attentive, kind, and always ready to help with any request. It is people like them who make a stay truly comfortable and memorable. I would also like to highlight the excellent beds and comfortable pillows, high-quality linens, plenty of towels, beautiful bathrooms, a wonderful shower, and perfectly reliable Wi-Fi. We were fortunate to stay in a ground-floor room with its own private garden. Being able to enjoy a morning coffee or spend a quiet evening surrounded by greenery became one of the most enjoyable parts of our trip. The carefully selected vintage furniture throughout the hotel deserves special admiration. Each piece seems to have its own story and contributes to the unique character and elegance of the property. What impressed me most, however, was the atmosphere. The hotel feels less like a hotel and more like a beautiful and welcoming private home, where every guest is treated with genuine care and attention. I sincerely wish this wonderful project continued success, prosperity, and many grateful guests. We will remember our week here with great warmth and would be delighted to return in the future.Dr.Iren Mother of 5 sons The only suggestion I would make is to consider extending the opening hours of the café. Guests often have busy sightseeing schedules, and it is not always easy to match local meal times. The opportunity to enjoy a light lunch, snack, or coffee throughout the day would be greatly appreciated and would make an already wonderful experience even better.

Stunning facility, great central location clean comfortable. Bed in James suit is one of the Best I've ever slept in! Staff was Amazing helpful and pleasant! We would stay here again and tell friends Great you can pull rental up to front they will unload and park in garage for you. 80 euro but totally worth it if you have parked in a big EU city not having to find parking or shlep bags down cobblestone road. Priceless!!! Navigating the city to get there is a bit challenging but not there fault.

*Staff & Service*: The staff were genuinely personal. They introduced themselves, asked about me by name, and actually wanted to know the little details to help. Felt more like being hosted by friends than checked in by staff. *Location*: Superbe location. Cool area, just around the corner from a small piazza and the food market. Main attractions are a short walk away. You can’t beat it. *Room & Design*: Art everywhere and every room feels unique. Yes, it’s on the pricier side, but the quality matches. The bed, linen, bathroom products — everything felt five star. I don’t say that lightly. Honestly, nothing major. Breakfast is fancy, fresh and made to order, we loved it. One morning server was amazing — he remembered exactly what we liked and made it personal. Another server was still getting the hang of the morning flow. But that can be the Italian vibe! It did not take away from the stay at all.

Location was close enough to the city to easily walk but away from the crowds. The staff made you feel like you were visiting friends There was a building renovation across the street. A minor noise during the day (though the windows kept it remarkably quiet)
