The apartment was very beautiful and clean, the location was great near the station. You can walk around the city without problems. The host was very helpful all the time.

The location is good, walkable to most sights in Florence. Nice to have a washing machine in the unit. The air condition unit is not very strong. The bedroom without AC gets really hot. It would be nice to have a fan to help flow air into the bedroom. Also the entrance inside the building to the apartment is not very clean.

There were times when it got a bit noisy due to people coming and going, and the room could benefit from better insulation. Also, the bed wasn’t as comfortable as I had hoped.

Good

I was a solo traveller attending a conference. The accommodation is a 5 minute walk from the conference centre and close to sightseeing. It was easy to find and access with the instructions sent from the host. Close to train station. The single room was ample for my needs with a comfy single bed and small bathroom. The accommodation was very quiet but there was a shared kitchen facility where you could make drinks and free snacks available which was a nice touch. The whole accommodation was self service but quite convenient and easy to manage. The room was internal although there was a window that opened to a court yard but no external view. This made it a little dark. There were no staff to be seen throughout the stay although they communicated in message. The key system for the light in the bedroom and automatic lights in the reception area meant it was a bit dark and creepy when coming and going but the accommodation was quiet and safe overall. I had to leave the city tax in cash on exit but hadn’t realised as thought I could pay this by card at the accommodation (I hadn’t saved much cash at the end of my trip)

Exceptional

What did I like? It’s quiet, cozy, beautifully decorated, and well appointed. The beds are very comfortable, the bathrooms are beautiful, the furnishings tasteful and attractive. There are a living room and a kitchen that the guests can use, so one feels right at home. There is even a little library! I have stayed here twice so far and would be happy to stay here again. It would be nice if guests could check out at 11:00 instead of 10:30 a.m.

Very spacious and clean. The stairs were very steep and narrow. It was difficult to get luggage to second floor and back down again.

It’s located centrally close to restaurants and attractions. Contact with property managers/owners was good and came straight out when some problems were identified. The apartment was very secure and air conditioned. Pillows were really bad and towels were thin. There were no sauce pans and no tea towels. The handy man did come out fix the issues, bought pans, tea towels and extra electricity plugs on day 1. However the light in the range hood was not working and never fixed which made cooking hard and had to use a lamp from the bedroom.
