nice place to live in flushing among those older hotels.

The bones of the hotel were low budget… that said, it is clean and convenient and they put out a very good basic breakfast which would cost $15 - $20 at Denny’s. My concern was “safe neighbourhood” and I had no issue / anxiety with that.. of course be wise walking in areas at night.

The hotel was clean, comfortable, and in a very convenient location. The breakfast was good, and the staff were always friendly, helpful, and accommodating. A few things future guests may want to know: the hair dryer in the room was not very powerful, so you may want to bring your own if that's important to you. The shampoo, conditioner, and other toiletries are provided in small bottles, but the front desk is happy to give you more upon request. There was also no ironing board in our room, but one can be requested from the front desk. The location is excellent. It's within walking distance of Flushing's Chinatown, with plenty of restaurants, coffee shops, stores, and even a Target nearby. It's also very easy to take the subway into Times Square and Lower Manhattan. The hotel can arrange shuttle service to and from the airport at a reasonable price. LaGuardia Airport is only about 10 minutes away, which made traveling very convenient. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay and would happily come back again. Thank you John Hotel!

The John was adequate for an overnight stay. Close to LaGuardia in Flushing Queens. The block it’s located on was a bit sketch. Huge construction across the street which could have been bad but our layover was Sat-Sun so no workers. Staff was not friendly and a bit rude. Room was large and clean but really dated furniture, carpet, and appliances. Bathroom was newly remodeled but shows some mold in the tiles. Did not try the breakfast as there are better options to eat in Flushing. Airport shuttle is available at a price higher than an Uber.

Friendly staff and good breakfast to start the day. Spacious room & comfy bed. Air conditioning worked well as very hot in New York whilst there. Hotel was good value for money.

This is our go to hotel when traveling through New York. Love Queens and China town. Always clean rooms, pressed sheets, thick towels. Great airport shuttles.

Super close to corona park! Stayed for govball. Ended up walking home from the festival one of the nights to save money on an uber that probably would of been $60+. wasn’t as far as it seems! Several parking garages near by but most weren’t 24H. Lots of stores and places to eat.

It was he a basic no frills hotel. A place to simply take a shower and put your head down to rest while seeing the area. Everything appeared to be cheap, but fairly clean. I liked the towels most. The soap was so old that when I opened it, it crumbled and had literally no smell. The body wash was tiny and as cheap as could possibly be. Check out.time is 12 p m. and we got a phone call from the front desk at 11:57 reminding us to be out of the room. That was a first.

The room was clean and there was a microwave and refrigerator. The staff were wonderful. They offer breakfast but I didn’t take advantage of it.

Clean and great location, about 3 blocks from the subway. We opted to pay for parking in the underground mall parking lot and had a great trip!

Lo recomiendo al 100% esta muy cerca de todo lo puedes hacer caminado y esta a unos pocos minutos de la estación del tren por que se puede llegar el mismo tren hasta time square Hudson Brayan park Central Park 5av y mucho más

The hotel was very close to LGA and JFK airports. And the price was reasonable for 2 nights. We had complementary breakfast and it was alright.

It was clean room was nice . Having a mini fridge was important because my friend is on insulin and it has to be kept cold. The parking garage is right around the corner so that was convenient. They left plenty of towels for us so that was great. I would have liked to have more then 2 pillows on the bed. Other then that it was great.
