Sky Hotel Flushing/LaGuardia Airport

The window was broken and had a gap and I was hearing all the street noises and the roaring of the planes from la LGA since 6 am .

Easy to find easy to book and good for 1 night stay.

The room I stayed in was dirty, run down, and bare minimal. In the middle of night, the hotel staff and the customer next door had a shouting match, because apparently the cutomer's "two-hour" rental was up.

The staff was friendly. 24 hour hotel. Conveniently located by the airport. Clean rooms.

The people at the front desk were always pleasant and helpful. The location itself is in a great location to see flushing. Close to good restaurants and shops. The hotel rooms are absolutely disgusting. The towels they gave us were gray with human hairs stuck to it. The floors were sticky and had hair and debris all over them. The pillow cases had stains and the sheets had pieces of hair on them. The walls are covered in dust and the room had an awful smell. I personally would not stay here again. It was good for an emergency night in flushing but not good for more then a few hours sleep.

The hotel was a good experience great location and clean, the only thing we didn’t like were the beds, they were uncomfortable but besides that all good.

Super clean rooms, staff was friendly, but only had coffee for breakfast. It’s not very expensive compared to other places, so we would stay again.

I like the location of this property because it's near some amazing food areas and I hope you get to know the Chinatown of flushing. I don't like that the place is old and it feels sticky even if you put the air condition on. And the bed sheets were a little stained. No one likes that. I do appreciate the clean towels and the amenities such as the refrigerator and microwave. There are no lights near the bed which is strange. Also, you can hear every other room and their noises which is not so fun.

My closet doors were off the hinges and just laying up against the wall. The room door had a large gap after closing as if not fitted properly.

This is an old hotel, held to a bygone standard of convenience. That's understandable, given the age of the building and neighborhood, but more could be done to update the place. My room had no lamps, a loud air conditioning unit, and a broken window shade. It's on a loud street - horns honking, garbage trucks backing up. Sure, that's life in the big city, but if you need a good night's rest, you need to look elsewhere. The place is clean, but there was a weird tradeoff - I heard the staff sweeping and mopping the hall after I arrived at 1am and later around 4am when I woke up due to noise. When I left, they were mopping the lobby (enough with the mopping!). One plus: proximity to LaGuardia and top-notch Chinese restaurants. But it's in dire need of an update. Not worth the expense.
