Asiatic Hotel by LaGuardia Airport

Very convenient location with excellent public transportation. As I was travelling alone, this made my stay much easier. The subway station and LIRR are only about a five-minute walk from the hotel, making it very convenient to visit major New York attractions such as Times Square, Wall Street and the Statue of Liberty. I also felt very safe in the area, even at night. There were always plenty of people around, and the hotel is located in a busy market area with many shops, restaurants and a large Asian community. As I am Sri Lankan, I found the neighbourhood very familiar and comfortable, especially compared with some other areas of New York where I did not feel as comfortable travelling alone. The hotel staff were also very polite, friendly and helpful. I particularly appreciated this because I had experienced a few less welcoming interactions in other places during my trip in the USA, so the warm and respectful service here made a very positive difference. The location is also very convenient for travelling to JFK Airport. This was one of the main reasons I selected this hotel, as it is well positioned between the main New York attractions and JFK. From the hotel, you can take a bus to Jamaica and then connect directly to the AirTrain to the airport. The whole journey takes around one hour and was very convenient. The room facilities were also very good. I especially appreciated having a kettle to make tea, which I did not find in several other hotels I stayed at in the USA. This was a nice touch, particularly for guests who enjoy tea. The breakfast was also very good, and overall, I felt the hotel was excellent value for the price. I would definitely recommend it, especially for solo travellers and international visitors looking for a safe and convenient location with easy access to both New York City attractions and JFK Airport. It would be nice if the hotel could provide some milk in the fridge for tea or coffee, as well as body wash instead of only soap bars. The surrounding streets and market area were not very clean, although the hotel itself was very clean and well maintained.

I had a family situation and they were great about canceling the reservation and reimbursing me. This is the best hotel in Flushing for the price, no question. Clean snd quiet. N/a

The room was quite spacious and clean, and the bed was comfy. We appreciated having a mini-fridge and a microwave in the room - would be great for longer stays. The breakfast was a positive surprise. The staff was welcoming and helpful.

Such a nice quiet place to stay. The staff is very nice and helpful. The Asiatic is in a perfect spot for multiple things to do around New York. This was my second stay at this hotel and it won't be my last.

Clean rooms, lovely congee breakfast and amazing location near some of the best Asian food in the country. Would stay here again.

The rooms were cool and clean - and even had a real kettle, a bonus for me, since many American chains don't have them. The aircon on a muggy August night was a real boon. The streets are busy and there's no parking at the hotel, but there are a number of lots close by. Even with the proximity to La Guardia the rooms weren't too noisy.

Booked a reservation to attend the My Chemical Romance concert at Citifield! Easy check in with front desk staff. Fresh lemon water offered at reception area, alongside vending machines for snacks and drinks. Surrounding area is perfect, many food and drink options. Shops on every street. Close to the 7 train and LIRR. Rooms were clean, and breakfast is served 7am-10am, very yummy! 10/10 would recommend. Only concern was the shower head being loose, but it worked perfectly!
