Asiatic Hotel by LaGuardia Airport

We stayed at this property for one night to catch an early flight from LGA the next morning. The location is close enough from the subway (Main St-Flushing) to walk, even with heavy luggage. This was my mom's first trip to NYC so she enjoyed seeing many boroughs, and this one was an added bonus. The room was tidy, clean and as expected. it is also in close walking distance to many Asian restaurants, Macy's and Target. The only downside was we left the property at 6:30 and were not able to eat the included breakfast. We inquired about getting food to go, and were told it was not possible. We would stay here again.

Overall, good stay. Clean and safe. Breakfast below average.

The bad: there is no top sheet on the bed, just a heavy duvet/comforter. We asked the staff for a top sheet. They said they had none available until 8am . The shower pressure wasn't great and there was no conditioner. The body wash and shampoo are exactly the same.

Friendly staff and simple check in and check out!

Clean, spacious, quiet. Short stay but really comfortable and kind staff

The staff is friendly and always greeted us as we were coming and going. The room was clean. The bed and pillows were comfortable and the linen passed the sniff test! The breakfast was basic but good and we really enjoyed having our morning coffee before venturing out for the day. We got fresh towels every other day, even though we didn’t ask to have our room cleaned-wasn’t needed! The only negatives would be the honking of cars, the garbage truck and airplanes in the wee hours of the night. All in all, I would recommend the Asiatic Hotel. Thank you. I❤️NY

Exceptional

I really enjoyed my stay here. The hotel is in the "Chinatown" section of Queens. I didn't realize this when I booked. The hotel was basic, but clean. I knew this and thats all I really wanted. The water pressure was good, but the water gets insanely hot, so be careful. The hotel is located close to a train station ( 5 min walk) There are plenty of amazing places to eat in this area. The resturants are reason enough to visit. The staff could use a bit of training. They weren't very friendly and never spoke to me as I came and went. I pretty sure, I'm not the typcial demographic. But a smile goes a long way.

Close to both subway and LIRR and many food options. The hotel was clean too! No rooftop

The breakfast was very fresh, and well stocked. Highly recommend.

Very conveniently located to airport and in a really exciting area with incredible restaurants. The staff was so pleasant at 3:30am❤️ It's not giant but it's just the right size and price. Will definitely be back, oh and incredible art on the walls!
