Ly New York Hotel

On the first day I found the toilet seat was unsecured on one side. I immediately informed the desk clerk who said he was sending someone to fix it. No one came, even after I requested service the following days! I had NO ROOM SERVICE MY ENTIRE 6 DAY STAY!! Your site advertised a restaurant in the lobby. Upon check in the clerk stated it was closed; would possibly open the next day?? Never opened!! Overall very poor experience!

I will definitely be back as well. The staff was all very friendly and helpful.

Free parking is always a plus in nyc most places $40 a night just for parking. Next to the The Expressway, clean environment, clean Hotel it’s quiet.

They have free parking with is plus being in nyc. Laundromat is next just feet away from the lobby entrance.

Cheap hotel but restaurant was closed, sink backed up. Not great but at least the cost was cheap.

This property was clean, modernized & staff super friendly. I was very impressed given the area. It’s a lil off the beaten path but worth it if you’re needing a place close to the airport. They have parking as well. Bed comfortable, shower amazing. Only drawback was no iron or steamer. Towel warmer was a great touch

The pictures definitely make it look more luxurious than it is. The room has a slot to put your key card in to turn on the power which is something that I’ve never seen before but I think it’s a cool feature and it’s energy efficient. The towel warmer didn’t work and neither did the hair dryer. The water pressure was amazing but I didn’t love how the bathroom wasn’t very separate from the actually living space. The sink was also clogged. My biggest problem was that our room wasn’t cleaned even once during our 4 night stay. There’s a button to turn on and off inside of the room that lights up on the outside of the room for “Do Not Disturb” and “Clean Room”. Maybe it was wrong to assume that these buttons would actually signal for our room to be cleaned but then what is the purpose of having them? We had to call to ask for our room to be cleaned and they told us that “the lights don’t work” even though we could clearly see them lit up. We also never got clean towels until we called about our room being cleaned and even then we only got one big towel, one medium size, and one wash cloth, and there was 2 of us staying in the room. They never ended up cleaning our room either. There’s no water or ice machine. They put ice in a big cooler with a metal scoop sitting in the ice which is very unhygienic and the ice was also almost completely melted. I would say considering how cheap it was, I would stay here again but it’s definitely not somewhere I’d stay unless I was on a budget.

The rooms pictured online look way bigger than the real rooms, very small and right on top each other.

I like how clean it smelled in the hotel. The temperature in the room was very hot. The thermostat wouldn’t get it cool and when we went to call downstairs the option to call downstairs wouldn’t work.

They were doing some remodeling work so the restaurant was not open which would of been convenient for us and it would of been nice to have some outdoor seating area for smokers or just somewhere to enjoy the nice weather

Nothing We stayed 4 nights, housekeeping never cleaned our room or gave us new sheets
