We stayed at Chalet de Paris and were very pleased with our experience. The place was incredibly cozy with a comfortable bed, allowing us to get a great night’s sleep. Despite being in Paris, the street was very quiet, and we didn’t feel the typical noise of a big city. Everything was clean, and the hosts were very welcoming and hospitable. We traveled by car, and having parking available in the courtyard was a huge advantage. We didn’t use public transport, so it’s hard to say how convenient the location is in that regard, but for us, it was perfect.

Great stay, room was clean and bonus of having a fridge. The host was very welcoming with very useful info of getting into the centre of Paris, also great gesture of him to allow us to book in earlier than planned, very much appreciated.

The hosts were responsive and very forgiving when--due to unfortunate circumstances--I ended up arriving earlier than scheduled with kids and luggage in the pouring rain. I'll be forever grateful for allowing me refuge at the last minute.

This is a great cheap option to stay in Paris, especially if coming by car as it’s very handy the free private parking inside the property. The owner is super nice and kept in touch and explained all the procedures to enter autonomously. The bed is quite comfortable and the room AB’s bathroom were spotless clean. The RER station of Fontenay-sous-Bois is 1.6km away so it’s 15-20 min walk. I really like the real feel of a middle- working class suburb. And then in 15 min you can be in Champs Elysees. You also have a capsule espresso machine in the room so make sure you bring your capsules! And in a stuffy spring night I appreciated the room had AC. All in all this is a good value for money option. Nada

Spacious and comfortable. Nothing

I loved how cute the place was. And it was nice a quite As I am disabled I found the bed very uncomfortable as I am used to memory foam pillows and mattresses. But I would recommend it to others.

Table and chairs available. Host can help with directions and things to see/ do Quiet surroundings First of all, this is not a hotel, it is a room with a bathroom in someone house. Because we needed two separate beds, we ended up in the kids' room. Therefore, the beds had plastic mattress protectors, making them super uncomfortable (noisy and you sweat like hell) It is quite far from the subway entrance and groceries/ restaurants. The room is not easy to access as the stairs are old. The bathroom felt cramped, the shower very small and not very clean The owner made me uncomfortable.

Free parking No soap, shampoo was old almost dried.

Damien and Yanyun (the owners) are very kind, and went the extra mile to help me out. They even acted as interpreter between myself and my distant French cousin and helped us to arrange a meet up. There is a fridge you can use with plenty of space. Cutlery and crockery available. I made my own breakfast and lunch each day. Was able to reheat leftovers for dinner in the on-site microwave. If you're staying for more than a couple of nights they have a maid who cleans the room and changes the bed. Wasn't expecting that in a home-stay :) If you check the Citymapper app you'll see it's very straightforward to reach key attractions from here. It's a 5 min walk to bus 124, which links to metro line 1 (Notre Dame, Louvre, Champs-Elysees) at Chateau de Vincennes station. Remember that a single metro ticket entitles you to a single journey using any means of transport. So the bus and metro journey together just require one ticket. Sorted! It's a 22 minute walk to the metro station, but it's a very pleasant walk, partly through a park. The whole area is very pleasant. It's another 5 min walk to bus 127, which takes you to Gare du Nord via line 9 and 5.

Property was almost perfect considering price/location/facilities combination. I was in Mulan room, room suitable for one or two persons. Pros: + Perfect WiFi speed: router is located right in the room + Great price indeed! Really good price considering the other options across whole Paris + Comfortable bed with clean sheets + Set of clean towels + In the shower: good water pressure and temperature of water easily regulated and you can set it really cold or hot + Fridge is present + Fine access to Public transport: bus stop is located on the next street; hoverer, metro station and RER stations are quite far (you need to walk approx. 20 minutes) but for me walking was not a problem. + Friendly host included! :) - What I really did not like is that across the whole apartment’s floors and in the kitchen (floors and even table and counters) there were a lot of black woman’s hair. It was unpleasant when I sat to eat down at the table and then noticed these hairs across table’s surface. - If your neighbors will be noisy, you may have troubles sleeping - but I was lucky, it happened to me only one night. - Sink is only in the bathroom, no sink in the kitchen
