Aloft by Marriott Fort Lauderdale Airport

I like the idea of a steamer vs. a traditional iron. The color scheme of the rooms were stunning. The soap and other amenities were refreshing.

Clean and comfortable room would stay again.

Great location to stay prior to going on a cruise. The free airport pickup was great. We arranged our ride to the port and from the port to the airport right there at the hotel. The staff was vrery friendly and super helpful. I can't rememebr his name, but the bartender is superb! Very creative and great to talk to.

Location wise it is perfectly placed for a cruise and the airport, also a 15 minute walk from plenty of places to eat. The only thing that I can fault is the noise from outside, we were on the 8th floor however the noise from the road below was loud and continued all night. The staff were great and happy to help. I’d stay here again.

Very cool hotel. Modern and updated. The Valet guys were great. Very clean. I would stay here again. Was a perfect place to stay the night before leaving for our cruise. Close to the port.

I absolutely love Aloft Hotels. Never disappointed. I love the decor and streamline design of the rooms. I will definitely stay at this property again.

Rooms were clean. Staff was nice. Breakfast was expensive & not much to choose from. Pool was closed for maintenance. Bar staff was SLOW but food wasn’t bad.

There was no parking option other than $35 valet parking, and it was not clearly listed on the website when I booked.

The only issue I saw was that the shower did not have a handle that could come down to wash yourself. Other than that, the staff was accommodating, very pleasant and kind and courteous, and the hotel was nice and clean..

Highly recommend staying here if you are cruising out of port Everglades.

Stayed one night before our cruise. Very convenient to the cruise port plus they offer FREE shuttle from the airport. Shuttle to the cruise port is easily arranged right in the lobby and not a bad price for the convenience. Rooms are large, clean, quiet and very comfortable. Breakfast has a fee but coffee is free. The only down side is very few options for dinner in the area. Otherwise it’s a great place to stay!

We specifically booked this hotel for the rooftop pool and bar. When we arrived it was closed and under construction. We went downstairs to have a drink, there were three people at the bar, not busy, and they were out of wine glasses. The listing stated there were 3 restaurants, there no restaurants aside from a few small bites you could order at the bar. My son went to use the restroom and there was no water. I chatted with Expedia about this because the room was not cheap and had we knew it was under construction and couldn’t use the pool, we would have gone elsewhere. Expedia said they contacted the front office and I would receive a discount upon check out, but I did not receive a discount. Don’t waste your money, there are plenty of cheaper places near the airport.

Only booked this hotel for the rooftop pool, just for it to be closed the whole time I stayed without any notice. Asked for extra towels and blankets and was told “those are hard to come by” (did not receive any extra) toilet ran and ran for hours on end and sometimes wouldn’t flush without taking the back off and messing with it for 10 minutes to get it to flush. Wouldn’t book again. Wasn’t happy with my stay.

The hotel itself looked fairly new and was very clean and pretty well appointed. The staff was friendly. The room was comfortable and accommodating. There was however no complimentary breakfast (you could buy a typical self-serve hotel breakfast for $14.99 though) and you have to pay a valet to park your vehicle in an uncovered parking lot just feet away from the covered drop off point at the front door. Because of no availability of self-parking and no included breakfast, we will likely not stay here again.
