Nice and clean and very close to the beach

Room was spacious and clean, staff very helpful. Breakfast included and was very good.

We extended our weekend for one more night. We booked the Barley House last minute. The staff was great. I actually left my wallet in the bedside table & they kindly mailed it to me when I called them. Everything was great for our very short stay!

Nice property, boutique hotel vibe. Loved the e-bikes. Can't see the beach from here.

Large, modern room and bathroom. Good location for beach. Excellent breakfast in a chilled out area of the hotel. Great boutique hotel. Reception staff member was not very communicative .

From the moment we arrived, Barley had such a beautiful, stylish, and welcoming atmosphere. Everything felt thoughtfully curated, comfortable, and effortlessly chic without ever feeling pretentious. But the real highlight for me was watching my mom absolutely rave about the hotel and thoroughly enjoy every moment of our stay. That meant everything to me. She loved the atmosphere, the comfort, the overall experience, and the feeling of being somewhere special. When the person you’re traveling with is that happy, you know you chose the right place. The location was perfect for enjoying Fort Lauderdale, and Barley gave us the ideal place to relax and recharge between outings. The staff were warm and professional, and the entire experience felt personal rather than simply transactional. I’ve stayed at plenty of hotels, and some are simply places to sleep while traveling. Barley was part of the vacation itself. It helped create the kind of experience we’ll actually remember. My mom loved it. I loved seeing her love it. And that alone makes Barley a five-star stay in my book. Beautiful property. Wonderful hospitality. Exceptional memories. We will absolutely be back. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My family and I enjoyed everything about the room, especially it having a kitchen area. I did not like the breakfast they served.

This property was exceptional. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay, so much so my husband wants to stay here every time we're in Fort Lauderdale. The room was extremely clean and spacious. I especially liked all the amenities; the robes, slippers, toiletries, bottled water. Everything was thoughtful planned and showed excellent attention to details. Breakfast was nice and the sitting area was cozy. Lovely balcony with great views of the ocean and the harbour. Great location. We absolutely enjoyed our stay.

Our original room had a bathroom leak so we were given another room. After a few days the a\c was not working too good. The room was clean and the breakfast was good. The staff was very helpful.

Exceptional

This hotel looks somewhat dated on the outside with outside entry doors, but the inside has obviously been remodeled well. The room was a good size with a fairly large fridge. There are a microwave and sink near the food prep area. It is not a full kitchen, but very handy. Bed was comfortable, bathroom well done and all was clean and in good repair. Breakfast was pretty good with some items made fresh and some warmed up from frozen. A good selection of fruit, pastries and juices was nice. The coffee was always ready early which helped us as we had early appointments. The location is really nice with a very short walk across the street to the beach. The street it is on has very little traffic which was also nice. We did not try the pool area so no comment on that.

The pool and cabana areas were perfect and fun. Breakfast buffet was set up nicely, although some dishes could have been hotter. Variety of items were great. Check in was ok as staff looked little confused. Check out staff amazing and very helpful. I would definitely book another pre cruise weekend here, especially now that resort has liquor license. Short walk to restaurants and beach.

Got to hotel and there were a lot of fees you have to pay for that they will not tell you about. !!

ac only went to 72° and it was 95°+ outside. Management said there was nothing they could do. Nights were warm and uncomfortable. Breakfast was ok, not many hotels in the area offer breakfast so it was a nice plus also some of the options were eh.

All the staff were kind. They always gave me alternative utensils when I asked because wooden ones were the ones set out to eat with (those make everything taste inedible if u ask me) There is no bar (they got beer in cans the last 3 days of our stay) There is no gym (my fault, I overlooked it) It is close to most places, def reccomend a car bc there are so many good places to eat over the bridge on the way to Miami for half the price
