Courtyard by Marriott Fort Lauderdale Downtown

Th property was clean and the service was awesome.. however parkin can be better arranged for persons staying at the hotel. 45$ a night in addition to stay is crazy. Plus u pay each time u enter the parking area.

I love the location of the property. The property was up to date with a great roof top pool. The rooms could have been cleaned better, the sink was stopped up but someone came right away and fixed it. The shower could have been cleaned better.

The staff was very nice and helpful throughout our stay. Unfortunately, someone stole our phone from the valet parking area, which was very disappointing and put a damper on our experience. Overall, the staff was kind and professional, but the situation with our stolen phone was concerning.

Also the do not disturb sign some how was removed from my door and was no where to be found. I put the sign on the door so that no one would enter my room. Cleaning staff entered my room. Nothing was stolen or missing but I didn’t want anyone in my room. I had on the desk, my laptop computer, my passport, my credit cards and cash. All out on the desk of the room. That is why I didn’t want anyone in my room. Also, if you don’t valet and just self park in the garage it’s $45 which seems very expensive . It’s a Courtyard Marriott not a Ritz Carlton. Is there nowhere to park your car that isn’t so expensive ?

Room was just what we wanted. Arrived at 1pm and was able to check in well before we were scheduled to at 4pm!!! Balcony and view was excellent. Rooftop lounge view and pool area was excellent. Valet was excellent. Hotel is less than 15 mins from Ft. Lauderdale beaches!!! Ate at the restaurant Hatch right downstairs and it was really good! Front desk staff was excellent. Monique gave us 10/10 service! We definitely will be back to stay again!

Well kept , room was clean. Close to good restaurant and coffee shops. All in walking distance .

Staff was rude but other than that I enjoyed my time there.

Beware when you rent a room at this property, you have a mandatory valet parking cost that is not listed on Expedia as part of the room expenses. It’s an additional cost over and above your room. I was not impressed with the food down at the hotel kitchen. It was expensive with automatically 18% gratuity added to your bill. Oh and the shampoo is made with coconut and for people that are allergic to tree nuts this could cause a severe allergic reaction.

My room was very clean , they had good drinks and food at the bar . The pool was lovely it’s self and clean . However the pool area wasn’t very tidy. It was used cups and trash underneath the chairs.
