The Dalmar, Fort Lauderdale, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

Location is optimized by being close to all Los Olas hot spots. Close to Brightline station. Rooms were incredible. Oversized bathrooms with oversized shower and tub. Excellent dining options and facility is picture perfect. Our room had a wrap around porch with wall to wall windows. Incredible views. Pool was perfect. Gym and amenities are great. I honestly can’t say that I disliked anything. Which is rare.

One of the best layers out rooms I’ve stayed in. Excellent styling and very comfortable pillows and bed.

The location The hotel is over sold on quality. My room was dirty, floors were sticky and corners of the room you could see the dirt. The bathroom door handle was missing, yes missing. The tissue box had several tissues in it and no replacement. They also required a $35 resort fee a day which is not clear when booking. Overall very disappointed.

Layout, staff extremely friendly!

Housekeeping did not get done daily as stated. Bathroom was not very clean and the door (though fixed when called out) was broken upon check in. I wouldn’t stay here again.

We definitely enjoyed our stay. The property has a lot to offer, including Sparrow o. The top of the hotel and the Lobby Bar on the sixth floor. The valets were helpful with my limitations walking to and from the car. Housekeeping really displayed patience with our getting out of the room Saturday.

I’ve stayed here about five times before. However, this time I had an issue with housekeeping. In the morning, I requested my room to be cleaned and went out for a run. When I returned around 8 a.m., everything was cleaned but the bed had not been made and there were no bed sheets on it — just the mattress. We still had about 5–6 hours before checkout, so the bed could have been used. When I pointed this out at checkout, the front desk simply said “sorry.” Considering that the rate was around $500 per night, I expected a higher standard of housekeeping service.
