Comfort Inn Fort Mill Amusement Park at Carowinds Blvd

Very close to the park very well cleaned. Easy check-in awesome, stay.

Stayed multiple times was told that there was a buisness rate I could save some money with on a “flat rate “ but couldn’t book threw a 3rd party so I attempted to do that at the front desk and after 10 mins of q&a ended up being cheaper through hotels.com I requested a late check out and Maria refused said it was way too busy that I could maybe stay 20 mins beyond the check out time reason for then extension I needed to do a load of laundry at830 9 am front desk was supposed to let me know when I could use the guest laundry but didn’t verry unprofessional highly dissatisfied

It was pretty gross. The walls were poorly painted. It smelled bad.

Bedroom floor was dirty near baseboards, hair dryer did not work, ice machine did not work, a/c controls did not work, and curtains were filthy and torn. The great thing was a large fenced in area for dogs to run. When we arrived 3 people were lying on the furniture in the lobby with luggage around them. Not a welcoming sight. Never tried the breakfast.

I heard the breakfast here was amazing and was told ran until 10 am I arrived at 930 to find everything closed up and being put away

The staff was very helpful when we heard a dog barking next door to us as soon as we walked into our room. They had apparently snuck him in-on that floor. The staff made them move to the appropriate floor. The condition of the hotel fell short. Dirty baseboards throughout the property, a very dirty hair dryer with dirty smudges all on the handle, stains all over the elevator inside, floors not swept and stained carpet in the corridors. The chair in our room was covered with stains and although the towels and sheets were clean ..? hopefully! they smelled off! Like maybe food smell had settled on them! Idk they just didn’t smell clean but they looked white and clean! I used a clean shirt over top of a pillow to sleep on! The pillow smelled sweaty and definitely needed to be thoroughly cleaned or replaced! We slept good…the mattress was comfy! And the breakfast was ok. But, all in all I wouldn’t recommend this property or ever stay there again.

Staffs was very nice and the rooms was very clean. Breakfast was good and that area was clean too.

Hotel was not what I expected. We ended up not staying over. rather drive 2 hours home after a day at carowinds then stay. There were people hanging out at the pool past 11. Smoking and noisy. Reaches everywhere. Wouldn't dare to walk on the floor without shoes on.

The bathroom sink in my room was clogged and draining very slowly. I had to use the bathtub faucet to wash up. The pillows on one of the beds did not smell clean and had a scent of perfume and I could not use them. I would have requested a different room if I had booked more than one night.

For the location and price you really can’t beat it. Me and my 11 year old daughter stayed there and we were more than happy with the experience. The breakfast is really good too and has more than I thought it would! Definitely will be back to stay again!

Good location and price. Dirty bathroom floors. Also main floors were filthy. Could not walk barefoot.

My only complaint is that I had paid in full upfront on the website but at check-in they asked me to scan my card and they were charging me $270 I asked what is this? They said what I paid was only to hold the room. I showed receipt and conformation number and insisted that I have already paid and after a few minutes they said I don’t owe anything. It could have been an honest mistake but it seemed fishy.
