La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Ft. Myers-Sanibel Gateway

Check in was pretty quick, had to ask how to get to the room though. Room was clean but VERY dark. 3 days in a room with not much light is rough. We opened the curtains and had the 2 lights on but not much help. I looked at reviews about lightning and others complained also. Free breakfast but not till 7 so wasn't useful for us. This was one reason I booked here. Location is great for Sanibel and Ft Myers beach. Checking out was like drop your key and no one says or ask anything. I wouldn't stay here again though as not for us. The pool looked big and clean but we didn't use it.

Great location to Sanibel, rooms were not clean. However the rate was good for the proximity to Sanibel bridge entrance

Actually a Hidden gem. We loved our stay. The pool was impressive and the continental breakfast was delicious. 3 minute drive to the beach. This place has become our favorite.

TV (Rm. 342) kept buffing at times Mainly night.

Nada no me gustó

Issues we had: our room smelled like mold and high humidity so we requested to change and they gave us another one with same issue, the third room was better not that much smell, but there was a big live roach in the bathroom.

The pool was nice and the staff was wonderful. The rooms (I requested to move) were damp and musty. They smelled. This hotel has clearly had extensive water damage and I wouldn’t want anyone to get there and have their time ruined. Especially if they have asthma or allergies. Very dangerous.

We had a 5-day, 4-night stay. The room was clean, the breakfast was varied, and the pool was great. However, the Expedia site did not provide a way to report our dog during booking or mention the extra $75 fee, so we had to register our Shih-Tzu days before arrival. This pet fee felt overpriced considering the strict rules the hotel has for staying with dogs. For the level of pet service provided, the fee should definitely be more affordable.

Excelente experiencia la atención muy buena y las instalaciones también, dude al leer algunos comentarios pero mi experiencia fue excelente asi que no duden en ir al hotel buena ubicación las instalaciones estan buenas y lo mejor el personal excelente atención yo tengo una hija de 4 patas y con ella fueron excelente

Room had an odor from cleaning--needed to be aired out. The air conditioner had a leak and water on the floor

Great location and place to stay

Very much enjoyed the pool. The staff was friendly and the room and facility was clean.

Location The room was subpar, the A/C unit was extremely noisy and constantly cycling. Lighting in the room and bathroom was terrible! Breakfast was very disappointing I just wanted some fresh fruit and all that was offered were greenish/brown bananas.
