Towneplace Suites Fredericksburg

The pool hours were open at 10, close at 9 and we couldn’t utilize the pool for a night swim or an early morning swim, so no pool time for us, bummed us out.

Don’t stay here ! Look for another place

Reserved rooms that were paid for were given to other customers. Reason from hotel was Expedia overbooked rooms. I had to stay at different hotel since no rooms available at booked hotel.

Staff was incredibly friendly! Rooms were clean. Outside pool really helped cool us down on a 97* day! Breakfast was fantastic! Love staying here!!

I booked and prepaid for2 rooms 9 months before our trip to the Outer Banks as a stay over on the way. After traveling 8 hours we arrived at Towneplace Suites in Fredericksburg where we were told our rooms had been canceled the day before. There was a horse race going on and they sold our rooms right out from under us, most likely for a higher rate. They blamed Expedia, but I had received a message from Expedia the day before confirming our reservation. The receptionist told us to go to the one in Stafford which would have had us backtracking. Here we are in the pouring down rain with kids and dogs and no place to stay.Expedia tried to find us another hotel, but everything was sold out. We ended up at Red Roof Inn. I would stay away from this place.

This is a really nice hotel. The rooms were clean, the staff were wonderful respectful and very helpful. We had pots and pans and utensils, a stove and a microwave in our room. And I was able to make soup for my Autistic child. The breakfast worker lady was so kind and helped us have a wonderful breakfast experience. The only thing I would say is the breakfast room is a little small could be a little bigger and they could use more options at breakfast. But overall 10 out of 10.

breakfast was good staff was nice TV was not working. staff could not fix it over the 4 day stay. booking.com was supposed to give me a $120.00 credit and never did. booking.com never returns my calls. hotel staff never returned my calls.

I reserved a room for my girlfriend who was driving down from New York. Apparently it was handicapped accessible and they asked if she would like a different room which she did. They then charged her for the room even though I had pre paid. So she was charged where I had already paid and is not receiving cooperation from the hotel on getting reimbursement

They overbooked the hotel and never informed me of this and then told me I didn’t have a room. This all happened on the day we were checking in.

Friendly staff, clean room, we don't have pets but liked that they have a separate pet area

Disappointing

The key door kept alarming all night long in the hotel did not have staff to fix it.

The inside extra lock thing on the door was broken. The pool was locked and they had no reason why.

Bedroom was great. There was no air conditioning in the living room area and 95° outside. We were told there was nothing they could do about it. I was double charged for the room. I have called 3 times so far and they keep saying I was not double charged and to wait 14 days for a refund (even though I wasn’t double charged). It has now been 14 days with no refund.
