Hotel Krone

Our room was wonderful, with great attention to detail, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The beds were extremely comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic! There was a wide variety of options, including many healthy choices and homemade dishes. The ladies who served us were exceptionally kind and had such a lovely, positive energy. The entire hotel has a cozy, warm, and very welcoming atmosphere.

Staff was friendly and helpful with best plan to explore. Perfect location to be out of the crowd (Oktoberfest) but close to train station and walkable restaurants and pubs. NA

I liked most of everything, except the fact that there is no air-conditioning in the room. It's hard to sleep when the temperature is over 30 degrees centigrade. The breakfast was good. The staff are very friendly and helpful. No air conditioning.

Right in city center, plenty of stores and a supermarket nearby, really quiet (pedestrian street). Free private parking nearby and we could find a spot there. Also very close to train station. Spacious and clean room, comfortable bed, plenty of plugs (one on each side of the bed). The shower was leaking a tiny bit of water, likely because the doors didn't close tightly enough.

The location is about ten minutes walk from the train station Not flexible if you arrive after 21:00 due to train delay but you can message the staff beforehand and they can leave the instructions for you. So it’s workable. I was disappointed when I found out that my credit card has been double charged for the stay and now I have to sort this out with booking on how they let this happen. Do check with your credit card.

It was quite noisy, as the hotel is located in the main street, and in the evening there's a lot of gathering and drinking. There was no kettle in my room, so I had to go to the kitchen.

The room was excellent for what I needed - solo traveller, needing a clean, secure and well kept place to stay for the night before travelling home. It had a desk and was very modern. It was also a very short walk to the train station, so perfect if you want to go into Salzberg / go to the airport. N/A
