Homewood Suites By Hilton Fremont, Ca

The pool was under renovation but not disclosed at time of reservation. Called for a towel around 6:30am, was told they have none and housekeeping will not be in until 9:30am. Breakfast food and service horrible. The hotel clerks not friendly and unable to communicate. Upon checkout I received my invoice, walked to my car and see they have an address that doesn’t belong to me. I called and spoke with Tatyana and she said oh what is your address so I explained to her that I never lived at this address and they collected my ID at time of check in!

Everything was great with the stay. Breakfast needs work. Happy Hour needs a different menu. Only down fall Is no where to sit outside on the property only a patio in the middle of building. Needs a bench out by front door. Other than that stay was great.

room space is larger than other hotel 1. We did request room cleaning on 2nd day stay. When we came back at 11pm, the used towels were still on the floor, the trash not clean, the beds not clean at all, the shampoo is empty. 2. We stay at 4th floor, but can hear someone's step from top floor. 3. We ate breakfast around 8am, watermelon/strawberry , banana were gone. we ask lady to refill, she said all gone, no more.

Let’s stick with just the staff today, or lack thereof. I have never been to a hotel so low staffed, and you could tell on the conditions of the rooms, as well as the customer service received. These employees were done with everything. We walked up and checked in Friday afternoon, and did not receive what anyone would say is a warm welcome. It clearly showed on the employee’s face that they did not want to be there. They in fact had their headphones in, and I caught them responding to whomever they were talking to on the phone while they were checking me in. We booked the room and indicated that an infant was coming, yet when I requested a crib, we were told it had misplaced. No explanation, no alternative, no offers to help with finding a solution. We later came back to that same employee to request extra pillows, so we could build a makeshift crib, and were immediately told they could not help us, as the cleaners had left for the day. The employee didn’t even offer to grab some pillows from a vacant room. No desire to help or even get off their seat. I will leave my review at that, and not include the dirty blankets we had in our rooms. Not a hotel welcome to families.

Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. One of the main reasons we booked this hotel was the swimming pool, only to discover during our stay that it had no water in it. While maintenance issues can happen, we were not notified in advance, which was frustrating given that pool access was a key factor in our decision to stay here. The next morning, we went to breakfast shortly after 6:00 AM and found the dining area closed. We were told that the breakfast staff had not reported to work and that breakfast had not been prepared. We were also informed that no manager would be available until 9:00 AM. Since complimentary breakfast is an advertised amenity, this was disappointing. Ironically, as we were leaving the hotel around 9:00 AM, we saw that breakfast had finally been set up. By then, we had already packed and were checking out. What was most disappointing was the lack of communication regarding both issues and the absence of any response after I emailed management about our concerns. The room itself was clean and the property appeared well-maintained, but the unavailable amenities and lack of follow-up significantly impacted our overall experience.

Although mention of exercise amenities wasn't able to locate same.

The breakfast menu had a nice array of hot items to choose from plus fruit and cereal and other items parking was good and room was excellent

This hotel was great, very clean, we checked in late and the night receptionist was awesome! She was so nice and helpful. Will definitely be recommending this place, and staying again if in the area! GOOD JOB HILTON!

Booked a room for several nights, reception could not find room for the first night and was really slow and unhelpful for half an hour. They really offered complimentary water after all the time wasted

Overall, we had a great experience. I was just disappointed because there were ants in the breakfast area, and the pool was not open.

Cleanliness I didn’t like the fact the TV volume was still low on the highest number and the apps weren’t working Netflix etc.

Big rooms, kitchen Pool isn’t working, no restaurant , outdoor patio also was closed .

Parking was great , the room was excellent and the hotel is surrounded by amazing food places
