I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Kawaguchiko. The place is very clean and cozy, and the lounge offers a beautiful view of Mount Fuji. I spent time journaling there while looking at the mountain, it was incredibly peaceful and relaxing. The owner is extremely kind and welcoming, and speaks perfect English, which made communication easy. They also offer a shuttle service and were very flexible with scheduling based on my plans. The location is super convenient: only a 4-minute walk to the famous Lawson photo spot and very close to bus stations. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area!

It's the coolest hotel! The design is really unique, like a combination of 1970s and classic rock and artist-lounge, it felt very cozy. The staff are so nice. There's a cat named oreo and it's really cute too! there's a lounge to drink coffee with a biscuit near the reception, it's very relaxing. The room was spacious and clean, beds were separated so we pushed them together though. the view to Mount Fuji is INSANE - right out your window. The blankets are thick and warm enough, and the bed was comfy. We were pleasantly surprised to discover that it's also a 5 minute walk from the iconic Lawson store with the Fuji view. there are a few bike rentals a 10 minute walk from the hotel. They allowed us to leave our luggage at the reception after we checked out while we traveled, and even gave us a ride to the train station when we collected our luggage back (about 10 minute car ride). It was such a cool hotel, and for a really good price! The only thing we can think of is that it was the only place in japan where the toilet was "regular" without a bidet. we didn't mind it though.

The location is very strategic. Not far from Kawaguchiko Station, very close to the bus stop in the town center to be able to explore and visit the surrounding tourist attractions. And most importantly, the beautiful view of Mount Fuji directly from the room without any obstructions. Many free public facilities are provided, such as a shuttle pick-up and drop-off to and from Kawaguchiko Station, public baths, massage chairs, even vintage games. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Nothing

Excellent location. Clean and comfortable. The view from the cafe lounge is superb. The hotel told us they could not arrange the car for us to the station because it was early (a bit before 8) but then there were another group of guests who left earlier than us but still were able to arrange car send off from the hotel. Anyway, not a big thing though.

Really liked the interior of the lobby; there's a lot of cool stuff and posters of albums and musicians all over. There's a cafe-like area that serves food where you can meet other travelers. There is also a cute cat that naps at the front desk. Hotel also doubles a studio for musicians. Public hot baths are available for those interested. Water is sourced from the local mountain, which was awesome. Location is fairly convenient. The hotel is roughly a 23 minute walk or 7 minute bus ride from kawaguchiko station. The famous Lawson is a short 2 minute walk. The nearest bus stop is also there. Getting to the bridge overseeing the lake is a 22 minute walk or 10 minute by bus. Room had a great view of Fujisan. Surprisingly spacious compared to other rooms I've stayed in. The beds were comfortable. Hotel staff were amazing. They are very friendly. Had a great conversation about musical instruments. They can offer pick ups and drop offs from and to the station. Just message them when you'll arrive and tell them when you'll like to be dropped off. Would definitely stay again and would recommend it to others. Room seemed kind of old.

Very good location, surrounding by many restaurants and close to Lawson, coin laundry is not far too. Lovely staffs and very warm welcome, willing to help for all requests. Pick up service by van from Kawaguchiko station and send to station when check out free of charge. Very good for our family with child. Actually, not thing. But if the room with private bathroom install the washlet, that would be fantastic for all.

You can see Mt. Fuji right outside the hotel. If you stay in a double room, you can even see Mt. Fuji directly through the window. Excellent location! The hotel staff are very friendly! The hotel also has a very nice lounge, and provides free tea, coffee, etc.

Everything is PERFECT! Their owner & staffs so kind, helpful and friendly. My room have stunning view of Mt Fuji & we are so happy ?

If you can accept a Japanese public bath, it is a good choice There are no disposable cups in the bathroom, so it's a bit inconvenient to drink water or brush my teeth

We really loved our stay in Hotel Camelot! Beautiful view on Mount Fuji from our window was such a great treat! The staff at the hotel was hospitable and responsive, I forgot my sneakers in the lobby and they shipped them to my next destination in no time. We will definitely come again to pet a cat at the reception desk and have a blissful time in Kawaguchiko! Thank you ever so much!

Pickup at station. Polite staff. Can speak English. The location is very nice with the Fuji mountain on the background. Everything is not really far from a walking distance.

The got the room that has amazing view, everyday we get to enjoy Fujisan from our window. We were lucky that 3 out of 4 days of our stay, the weather was so bright and sunny ?. The staff were also very nice, helpful and the hospitality was superb, especially Kao who been entertaining our needs and questions throughout our stay, picked us up at the Kawaguchiko station They served free pick up services to & from train stations which was very convenient to us. Facilities provided were superb, we love their dining area where we can heat up our food and also enjoy hot beverages. Boxed juices also available in their fridge for guests. The staff named Kao was very kind & helpful. The furniture seems a bit old. But this is not a complaint, just to set expectation that it's not a modern set up type of hotel. We are OK, and comfortable with it.

Fantastic! Nice quite location with great views of Fuji including from our room! The theme of the hotel is music. The staff were very friendly and the place had a cosy, homely vibe. The common lounge was a great hang out area for meals and relaxing listening to old-school R&B.
