The breakfast was wonderful! A mix of both western and eastern foods. We also were treated to curry upon our arrival. The location was super convenient being right by the train station.

Staff was wonderful. The location is perfect. I got the watch the trains from my room. Photo included of our view. The hotel was quiet, or the soundproofing was good. Not sure which but we didn't have any issues with noise. Breakfast was decent. We didn't take advantage of the other food offerings but it was nice that they existed. I personally don't care if a hotel is dated as long as it's clean, but it should have been cleaner. There was mold in the bathroom and on the window sill. There was staining on the walls, bedframe, and bedding. Our room also had a faint BO smell. That said, I've paid more for worse stays and would consider returning.

Location: Across street from Fukushima JR Line and Shinkansen. The station has both East and West access. The East and West sides of the station provide different shopping and restaurants. The West side of the station leads you to the more areas of Fukushima City. Staff: Wonderful, professional, provided me with an upscale experience. Some English speaking Safety: I felt safe during my stay. Value: It was comparable but I think the price point could be less. Room condition: The room I occupied was less than what I expected as compared to the decor and image of the front desk. I felt I was in my old dorm room. I was actually disappointed. But the bathroom was clean. Not enough outlets to recharge my electronic devices. My desk needed to be replaced. Bed frame old and needed to be replaced. Hot water kettle dirty at the spout. Location. The only way to be closer to the JR station would be to be inside the station. AC and heating is centrally controlled, so cannot adjust your own cooling/heating in the room. The fan from air purifier/humidifier helps, but not much. I tend to feel heat more than others, so this made it uncomfortable for me. Wish there were individual AC controls in each room. Maybe it’s not an issue for everyone else.
