Very nice atmosphere. Although the hotel was traditional it had been renovated to an elevated level compared to similar properties. The food service in the restaurant as well as the breakfast were delicious. The hotel staff also comprised a friendly dog that furthered the feeling of visiting a home.

- Nice location on the outskirts of Fulda. - Private free parking on site. - Great food in the garden restaurant. - Comfortable beds. - Cosy atmosphere - The bathroom was incredibly small. Had to squeeze between door and washbasin to get to the toilet. - I don't like climbing stairs. - We waited about 15 mins in reception before anyone came out to check us in.

We had a spacious mansard apartment in a neighbouring residential house (cca. 50m), with own free parking lot. The hotel has a very nice local beer-garden restaurant under the trees (3 linden:), where you can taste local products from the own butchery, lunch and dinner as well. A tasty continental breakfast is served in the main building ("Bierstube"). The downtown of Fulda is about 20 minutes on foot, across the river. Nothing special I could mention, maybe the high stairs in the staircase of the residential house, for erderly or disabled guests.
