Our 4-star-superior resort involves 2 houses alongside the main house - South House Alpin and West House Alpin - all of them are connected to our main house with a hallway. We have two wellness areas including 2 pools. Located in the center of Fulpmes, the Stubaierhof is 1640 feet from the Schlick 2000 ski area. It offers free WiFi, a free bicycle hire, an indoor pool and free private parking is provided on site. Spa facilities include different types of saunas, an infrared cabin, a steam bath, a brine steam bath, and an outdoor hot tub. There is also a relaxation room and a fitness room, and beauty treatments are available. The spacious rooms at Alpin- and Wellnessresort Stubaierhof offer cable TV, a safe, and a bathroom. Some have a balcony. Tyrolean and international cuisine, as well as a wide selection of fine wines, are served in the restaurant. The Stubaierhof also features an indoor playroom, and a garden with a sunbathing lawn. Guests can use a ski storage room with a ski boot dryer. The free ski bus stops only a 2-minute walk away. The Stubai Glacier is 12 mi away and can be reached with a free ski shuttle stopping 164 feet away. An underground car park can be used on request. Transfers to and from Innsbruck Airport and Main Train Station are available on request and at an additional cost. The Stubai Supercard is included in summer.

I wish I could have stayed longer.

We received a convenient crib and grate small size robes for the kids. We stayed at this 4-star hotel, but unfortunately the overall experience did not meet our expectations. The first room we received was noticeably outdated. wall-to-wall carpets around the hotel appeared worn and in need of replacement. On our first morning, there were extremely loud renovation work coming from the room next door, after contacting the reception we were moved to another room. The alternative room, labeled as a suite, was also outdated and located in a separate building connected to the main hotel via an underground passage. This secondary building had no reception, which made the stay less convenient. The room lacked basic amenities such as a fridge and a kettle, and only after requesting one did we receive a kettle. On our last night, we also encountered a cockroach in the room. Breakfast offered a good variety, but the dining area consistently had a significant number of flies, which negatively impacted the experience. Additionally, the indoor pool water was too cold, preventing us from enjoying it.

Food was good, and came with a decent variety. There is no central 24hr coffee station or coffee within the rooms. Rooms are very basic.

1. It was a warm, cosy property in a beautiful snowy mountain setting - with easy transportation via bus and tram. About 20 mins drive from the old town by car . They give out a bus transport pass which is helpful. (I used for 590a/b bus) 2. It had a lovely pool , relaxation area and sauna area but I didn’t get round to using it . (The sauna is only available from the afternoon which is a shame ). 3. There is a good spar supermarket nearby and the odd bar/ restaurant / cafe . 4. The half board service was generally good. The drinks are overpriced and not included ?. 5. Reception staff are friendly enough in helping plan your trip with suggestions . But also do your own research in things so you don’t miss out on stuff . I suggest doing the top of Innsbruck cable car ride from old town . 6. The hotel offer an airport shuttle bus which is 25 euro each way . 1. The pillows are terrible - too soft and floppy. 2. No fridge or coffee/ tea facilities. But they did provide a kettle on request . 3. The hotel check out is at 11am which is too early in comparison to most hotel standards . I asked for a complimentary check out around 12/12.30pm and they tried to charge me around 45 euro for the pleasure. I was shocked , the hotel was not even running at full capacity . I obviously declined . I am a world class traveller and an extra hour or two for a later complimentary checkout has never been an issue . For this reason I have given the hotel a lower rating as it left a bitter taste and I doubt I would go back exactly for this reason. 4. I observed that they start putting away breakfast food around 10.10am … so get there earlier if you can !! . Also they are slow at replenishing the breakfast food and afternoon snacks - if you are on half board.

location perfect. My room was a small double and basic. Just fine for me as solo traveller but wouldn’t want to have 2 people in. Staff fantastic and meals amazing with on reservation on vegetarian- but didn’t detract. Only reservation is that I’m surprised vegetarian diet was not better catered. the mains tended to be heavily carb based-pasta and dumplings. The buffet didn’t have vegetarian main option. the afternoon tea limited on savoury choices as almost all meat based. However there was still enough salad options

The hotel really cares for its guests and goes the extra mile. Everything is well thought, in good taste, there were lots of little details which count. The food was good and the service outstanding. I enjoyed the wellness spa. The hotel was also beautifully decorated for Christmas and felt like a winter wonderland.
