Nice comfy beds, nice location, nice room. The food options. We had a meal at the old inn the service was very poor, they added an automatic tip, the food wasn't very nice, chewy burgers etc and the haggis I ordered was 90 percent mash to 5 percent haggis. You just felt ripped off. Then in their main breakfast the waitress handed me the plate but never said it was red hot and I ended up wigh a bad burn on my thumb. The sausages at breakfast was very small felt like they were trying to spend tge least they could on their guests.

I like the simplicity of the hotel. It was clean. A refurbished bathroom was a bonus. The staff were more than helpful. Young lady on reception could not have been more helpful.
