Friendly staff, everything as advertised

There had been a mix up with the booking.I asked initially to upgrade my room and on arrival it hadnt been.IOn the booking i had opted for the et dinner but this wasnt available however the manager took this on board and we able to have the a la carte meal t no extra cost. The bedding was dirty ie the matress protecter had stains on it and the room with no view was gloomy.

The location could not be better - and I had a sea view! In the morning two bus tours were leaving and blocked my car in for about 20 minutes. Nor a big deal as I wasn’t in a particular hurry but …

Clean room and other facilities like hair dryer, ironing board etc. The hot water supply was inconsistent, frequently turning cold during use. The taps were also difficult to operate and not particularly user-friendly. Parking was limited, which made arrival and departure less convenient. We also found the staff to be unfriendly and not especially welcoming. In addition, the bathroom window had no blind, which raised privacy concerns. Overall, the property has potential, but several aspects of maintenance, facilities, and customer service need improvement.

We had a family room - no sea view - very big, quiet and comfortable - Very nice dinner and great breakfast - A lot of history in the hotel and very warm welcome from the staff! Nothing

Great coastal view Property is outdated. Our rooms were near construction and there was a smell of chemicals, perhaps varnish or stain. Bathrooms are tiny. The bar area was a strange atmosphere with tables pushed against the wall, all the lights on, and no one dancing in the middle.

The room was excellent. The bed in particular was superb. Pleasant staff. Food was not terrific. Just uninspired. Salmon was over cooked.

Super view of the beach & Isle of Skye The window wouldn’t stay open without propping it with something. Although it wasn’t too bad in April, I can see the roses facing rooms getting far too hot in Summer

Liked the “old world “ feel of reception . The food was good . Breakfast superb . Great location for exploring The room was billed as deluxe sea view room . It was very tired compared to other recently refurbished rooms . The view had the car park first which meant people could look into the room .

Everything. It was so nice I extended my stay. Food and drink good. Food a bit pricey, but I think that’s just the location.

Excellent breakfast.

Beautiful spot on the beach, easy walk to A Few scenic spots, super helpful staff and we got the best room in the house! Breakfast was okay. I missed full fat yogurt and few nuts/seeds for vegetarians!

A bagpiper came and played outdoors and then a small band played in the pub!

Pillows a bit too firm. Window wouldn’t shut completely.
