There was homeless all around in there there was bed bugs and other bugs there was burglarized cars and stuff all around the motel then I had a lot of trouble getting my money back to find another place to stay for mine and my wife’s first vacation this residency inn was terrible all around

Hotels.com really let us down on this one

The room smelled horribly of mold and mildew. There was water running down the window from the room above our room. There were people in the next room selling things out of the room. Pictures on website are wrong. Front desk worker didnt argue about refunding our money in full.

The first room they gave us had a horrible smell. There was mold in the bathroom, stains on the wall. The second the inside lock was broken and it had no towels. We made the best of the situation but I’ll never book here again. The only thing that did work was the a/c

You can see outside the room from the holes around the AC unit in the wall. Mold and mildew covered our lampshades. The door lock and latch didn't work. My child was bitten multiple times by bed bugs. Four guests in the room but only given two towels at a time. Very inconvenient. Sheets felt damp from so much humidity in the room because it's not properly sealed from the exterior. The only thing good about this place is the guy who works the front. Everything else is absolute trash. I will NEVER stay there again. The entire building is falling apart, including interior and exterior walls. There was no phone in the room and the fire extinguisher didn't even have a battery in it. Throw the whole place away.

Big big big disappointment

A diamond in the rough with potential. If you just need a place to flop, sleep, have a hot shower and leave under 100.00$ this is the place when on Galveston Island. If you have issues with peeling paint on walls, etc. Then best to move on. Staff are polite, and helpful, parking is free and place is easy to find and less than 5 minutes away from the cruise terminals.

This hotel is clean

When we arrived, there were no towels, no toiletries, no pillow cases, lamps unplugged, mirrors dirty. There was free WiFi as advertised but no internet attached to the WiFi. There was no maid service the next day despite advertised daily service. Person at front desk said they only do it on request, so I requested it, but still none the next day. Good news was A/C worked well.

Nothing about this location is good. Only stayed long enough to see room was terrible and place was trashed. Also another guest was causing issues so we left. Everything.

No bugs, price Visually in room ugly paint could've helped in bad spots in doors and dog chewed walls and trim, toilet paper stuffed around ac unit, could use a better upkeep , hair on floor, all nny towels i had to carry to room myself. And atained pullow case yucky

This place is a dump. The walls were full of hole from previous artwork being hung. The smell of weed from other guests was unpleasant. The carpet was filthy with hairballs under the sink. The check in staff was polite. Plenty of parking. Pretty quiet.

The staff was polite. The neighborhood was pretty sketchy.

It was the worst hotel/motel room we ever stayed at anywhere! The staff was friendly. Didn't see any bugs, and the AC worked great - other than that, it was terrible (dirty stained bed, fixtures missing, someone took the smoke detector, toilet seat loose....just terrible.

Staff was nice and helpful The room had not been clean in a long time...stains and dirt everywhere....this is not a hotel to casually stay at a night or two...people were living there....not a hotel....I thought it was a joke but it wasnt...we left just a few minutes after getting into the room
