Uncomfortable beds, lumpy and sagging

The manager stated because we used a third party to book, they had no way of knowing how many would arrive. But to that I say, once we checked in and you counted 4 people, there should have been an adjustment. This was an inconvenience from the start, which made us feel like we were annoying the staff. There were stains which looked permanent on the bedding. Upon arrival, hair in the shower and shower wall, hard-water calcium build up on the shower fixtures. There were bleach and dark stains on the couch. A vent above the beds dripped water, which maintenance had to interrupt our stay to fix. The pool water cloudy and the room was cold, which made my child shiver. The iron leaked and stained a shirt. There were broken hangers. Breakfast was microwaved sausage every morning. The menu made us believe there would be something different daily by stating, "today's menu is". Milk was frozen. There was one waffle maker, which made for lines. The food was lukewarm, no microwave for guests in breakfast area. The coffee lackluster. When we made the manager aware, she gave excuses like: guests would take the towels to the beach. the facility was old, and it just went on and on. She did offer some points, but we weren't members. She made the account for us I feel the staff didn't do their job to make our stay a good one.

Outside was dirty but inside clean. Gym was closed but it wasn’t much of one. Pool is way smaller than photo shows. Breakfast was better than most. The location was not ideal. You’re sort of locked in to the hotel as there’s no where to walk. No outdoor spaces. The only one was right outside the indoor pool but it had no chairs. Also None of the balconies seemed to have chairs. Bed was comfortable. Inside was clean. I wouldn’t stay again. I wasn’t impressed for a Marriott brand.

Hotel was clean. Perfect for our one night stay before our cruise.

To start with the mattresses were really old & smell in addition the mattress in the sofabed showed signs of rust & spoilage. The AC compressor was inside the room and we heard loud noises all night long. To top it off cockroaches were rampant at night to the point my son and I had one on our head and neck and had to chase it waking up the whole family. Horrible stay. Thank you

Location was great! Staff was fantastic!

Upon arrival the room assigned smelled as if someone has just eaten onion. The staff immediately assigned us to another one. Which smelled cleaner than the initial one. However, the toilet handle was broken, and the iron did not work.
