If you’re looking for a clean, inexpensive place to stay in Gatlinburg, this is the place! It’s an older hotel but very clean! We sat out on the balcony every night listening to the creek below. One night, we observed a bear walking along creek doing his thing. I would definitely recommend this place. Close to town and walking distance to many shops and restaurants.

Nice size creek right off the balcony, with Bears present on property.

Customer service was poor. I only saw someone at the front desk once coming and once going. I could not call for service because the phone was not connected. The floor needed a good mopping. The balcony looked like it hasn’t been cleaned in a while. Huge spider webs on the balcony. I realize it’s close to nature and the stream so wasn’t too concerned. The toilet constantly ran and the microwave needed replacing. However, the sound and beauty of the stream was amazing.

The creek is cool; great price but I can see why. Bed was decent. Could use a couple pictures or something. Very plain Jane. It’s bear minimal. Could use some updated appliances and maybe clean the parking lot once in awhile. It did its job though!

The hotel was ok but the sheets on the bed was nasty had stains and the hotel had a smell to it also. And the pillows was also stained.

Let’s start with the bed bugs and the cockroaches and on top of that still have yet to get my refund still so

the little creek that ran behind and when you went out on balcony it was really nice , I am a smoker and there wasn't no comfortable place to smoke at I understand not smoking on the balcony or in the rooms but I would at least like a comfortable place to smoke at most of the staff was very kind and courteous I found one that I didn't care for and I spoke to the manager about Her . he was very attentive to my opinion about that member of the staff , I think one thing the whole staff needs to do when someone checks in make sure they are fully cautioning about the presence of bears around the city and the Hotel I was there for jeep invasion and there were several soft top jeeps that were torn into by the bear and it seem to be the same bear every night .but anyway I was over all very pleased with my stay there .

Room was very clean.. Very peaceful on the balcony over looking the creek.. I will return..

Nice place for the money, nothing fancy but everything you need for an affordable stay in The Smokey Mountains.

The room overlooked a stream out back which was nice. There was a lot of moisture in the room it felt like you were walking on damp floors. I think a dehumidifier would benefit the hotel. The staff was nice the location was nice I would recommend

Best part of the whole stay was actually having a bear walk right passed our balcony to get a drink from the beautiful little creek behind us.

I loved the newly renovated room right on top of a gorgeous creek !! And we saw a bear in the creek around 5:30 at night !! Great room and unbelievable view !!

There was a strange wet substance on the floor. We enjoyed the river view from the balcony.

What you get in a tourist town these days

Room was not as described, elvator was filthy and no inspection certificate displayed chairs on balcony was so small they could only accommodate someone 138 lbs or less. Waited 15 or more minutes outside in sun before staff came to check us in. Not the cleanest room and lighting in room was horrible

Beautiful water view balcony, very clean room

Very basic hotel but the rooms were clean, the balcony and creek view was perfect! We slept with the door open the first night and just listened to nature. Nice size rooms. Staff was friendly. Will definitely stay here again
