The place is comfortable and quiet, I enjoyed using it.

Too many events in the common rooms. Lack of minimum confort in the kitchen.

To many events in the common room, I couldn't find a peaceful place

The hostel looks modern and spacious, common areas are nice to hang out and make new friends. Room was big and wit lots of space to unpack, walk or change. Beds are comfy and they offer privacy. Multiple elevators which is good. The hostel is really close to RER B Gentilly Station which makes going to city center cheap and easy. Rooms have ventilation. Staff were meh; no real connection or customer service attitude.

the bathrooms were not clean and smelled

The manager was accommodating and refunded me due to the failure of air conditioning during the heat wave. Air conditioning failure. Poor and unfriendly bar staff.

The bakery beside the hostel and the locker room. The property advertised air conditioning and while checking in very early in the morning, I specifically confirmed that AC is working as it was in the middle of Paris heatwave. Upon returning to the room in the evening, I found out there was no working AC and not even a fan. The entire room felt like an oven. On top of it, the leather foam bed made it worse. For some relief, I tried to stay cooler in the common room but there was extremely loud music. Yes, I understand that the event was planned from before but the room was filled with hostel guests in PJs at that point cause rooms were intolerable and everyone else looked just as devastated as me. I talked to reception and the only suggestion they could provide me was I can get their supervisor email and get a refund but that got nowhere either. I had a very early flight in the morning and had to leave with zero rest or sleep. So basically I paid almost 90CAD for just a shower and keep my bags. The main reason for me to select this one was the fact that it was on the RER B line which unfortunately was closed on the day I needed as well though the hostel has nothing to do with that but for me personally it just meant even more waste of money. I have stayed in hostels all over, this was by far my worst experience, will never be back. Hostel management really needs to decide if they even want to operate a hostel or just the bar and restaurant would be a better choice.

Le lieu est très bien pensé, très cosmopolite est agréable à vivre Par ces fortes chaleurs, difficile de dormir dans les boxes

Very responsive and friendly staff. 24-hour front desk is the main reason I like this place. Very safe and secured. Some guests do not follow rules, this is not the hostel fault. Specifically, the man above my cabin was way too loud, late past quiet time, he kept talking and drinking. I went to the front desk and they took care of the situation, thank you. The man was gone next day. Some people do not wash their dishes at the kitchenette. Again, it is the guests, the property is great.

Everything Nothing
-
every thing was well location accessibility comfortable did not have a stove or kitchen if guest wanted do there own small prepoeration

There was no functioning A/C system in the entire facility, really embarassing. It was so hot inside, I couldn't sleep normally because of the heat. When I complained to the front desk they told me to ask their manager the next morning.

The shared spaces of the hostel are quite nice and modern, there’s a garden and a small roof top. The staff is quite nice and friendly the private box that i booked was terrible- tiniest space you could imagine where i couldn’t even open my suitcase, no air, no ventilation, no shelves or cupboards, no ac, nothing. It was impossible to sleep at night with a closed door, so it had to stay open, which is something you shouldn’t have to do when you book a “private” cabin. Oh and calling it a cabin is an overstatement- it’s a private wooden box. But folks living in the shared rooms complained about bedbugs, (people from several different rooms). The beds are wooden, so i guess it’s an ongoing problem there:/

Everything else was fine but the ventilation is non existent and I woke up several times in the middle of the night feeling like I was suffocating. By morning I had a sore throat and cough (that both went away in a few hours thankfully) because of how dry and stuffy the air was. Drinking water did not help for more than 15 minutes. Also the bathroom smelled stagnant like it hadn't been cleaned

Very clean I’ll come back some day
