Very practical place, no fuss and therefore worth the affordable price. A window for light would be great but understandably, the place is not designed that way.

Overall it's a great place to stay. We stayed for 4 days and the owner was very kind and helpful. It also near the Pulau Tikus market which is open with different food in afternoon and night.

The location is close to everywhere, there are many food sellers, around the hotel there are DIY,markets, supermarkets, transportation is also easy. The room smells damp, the TV has no channels, the floor is a bit dusty. If in the morning you are a little disturbed by noise, because on the top floor of the room is a gym.

We were taking nap in the afternoon after a long early trip. There's a gym above floor. You can hear the weight drop on the floor like thunder roaring ?

Bit far from Georgetown center so need to take a bus or grab but is fine if you are okay with it

Disposable towel should be replaced with a normal towel.

location is close to penang adventist hospital. a lot of food nearby. the japanese cafe on the 1st floor is pretty nice. no extra pillow. no communal fridge. no window. uncomfortable bed.
